The Obama administration is colluding with the Palestinian Authority government to plan more action at the United Nations detrimental to longtime U.S. ally Israel, Breitbart News is reporting exclusively.
Quoting a senior PA official, the site reported:
The official said the UN action could come in the form of declarations by UN bodies, including the General Assembly; UN sessions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; or even another United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution. He said any further UNSC resolution would depend on the support of the U.S. and European countries after the upcoming Paris Mideast summit slated for January 15.
He said the UN action would seek to set the parameters of a future Palestinian state with a clear timeline for negotiations. If the action comes in the form of a resolution at a UN body, it could call for an infrastructure to establish mechanisms to enforce last week’s UNSC resolution, which demanded a complete halt to Israeli construction in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem and declared those territories occupied Palestinian lands.
Naturally, the Obama State Department, headed up now by Obama sycophant and Left-wing demagogue John Kerry–who just this week said, incredibly, that Israel could “not be Jewish and democratic” at the same time–would not comment on any new actions. But it has long been anticipated that Obama would use his final days in office to essentially leave as big an imprint as possible, coupled with mess after mess that the Trump administration will have to deal with.
Clearly, the already-fractious relationship between the state of Israel and the Palestinian Authority is about to get even more fractious, as the PA will use any new UN action as the impetus to press the incoming Trump administration to uphold a deal it did not make:
Meanwhile, the PA official speaking to Breitbart Jerusalem said that any upcoming UN action would be geared toward bypassing the Mideast policies of the incoming Donald Trump administration by establishing binding guidelines for Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and a halt to settlement activity.
“The new motion will seek to set up a clear timeline for negotiations resulting in the establishment of a Palestinian state and stipulate a procedure for overseeing the implementation of Resolution 2334, including posting inspectors to the Palestinian territories,” said the PA official, who requested anonymity.
This comes on the heels of the administration reportedly conspiring to “abstain” from a UN Security Council vote to allow the UN to condemn Israel for daring to build settlements on its own land, as its population expands. Mind you, until this latest effort by the world’s most Left-wing, oppressive regimes to censor and punish Israel, the United States–one of five countries with veto authority on the UNSC–had never allowed such a vote to occur.
And this administration’s mouthpieces have the audacity to claim Obama has been Israel’s best friend ever.
Trump, as president, will ultimately set policy, just as Obama has done. Trump will be a much better friend to Israel than Obama has been, as he has clearly stated. So that means whatever Obama tries to do to sabotage Trump on his way out can, and likely will, be undone.
Now, the mainstream media will immediately run to Obama the Civilian to ask him what he thinks when Trump reverses this policy, as well as every other Obama policy and executive order he wants reversed, as though Obama were still in charge and as if Trump doesn’t really have the right to govern as he sees fit since, you know, he actually won the election.
So the sabotage and undermining of Trump may begin with the reversal of this policy, but it certainly won’t end there.Click here for reuse options!
