(NationalSentinel) President-elect Donald J. Trump, targeted once again by some in the mainstream media with phony allegations of ties to Russia and raunchy sexual proclivities, lashed out at a reporter of one of the culprit news organizations during his first official press conference this morning.
Reacting to broadcast and published reports by CNN and Buzzfeed regarding an unsourced, unsubstantiated 35-page “dossier” that was turned over to U.S. intelligence agencies by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Ron Wilson, a longtime GOP operative, Trump lashed out at CNN‘s news conference correspondent, after labeling Buzzfeed a “failing piece of garbage.”
With a breathless breaking news report, left-wing CNN went first. To no one’s surprise, the once-respected Jake Tapper took the lead. Undoubtedly CNN’s overall goal was to offer up the imprimatur of “journalism” so that a batch of leaked and completely unsubstantiated anti-Trump documents could be dumped on the American public the night before the President-elect’s very first press conference.
Included were references to Trump being assisted by the Russians in defeating Hillary Clinton, via contacts that allegedly go back years, and an allegation Trump once paid Russian hookers to stage a “golden shower” on a Moscow hotel room bed where President Obama and the first lady stayed once.
CNN‘s Jim Acosta called out to Trump during media questioning, but Trump wouldn’t give him the time of day.
“Since you are attacking us, can you give us a question?”
“Not you,” Trump said. “Your organization is terrible!”
Acosta pressed on, “You are attacking our news organization, can you give us a chance to ask a question, sir?” Trump countered by telling him, “Don’t be rude.”
“I’m not going to give you a question,” Trump responded. “I’m not going to give you a question. You are fake news!”
The mainstream media is not accustomed to being called out or shut out, but in the Age of Trump, whose tweets serve as his media platform, is not about to kowtow to a Fifth Estate that has mocked, ridiculed, and lied about him every step of the way thus far in his campaign and transition–and which is not about to let up on him once he takes office.
It could be that eventually, once the Trump administration takes office officially, some news organizations that have been particularly egregious in their treatment of him will find themselves completely cut off from covering the White House from the White House, as in, having their White House press credentials revoked.
In any event, none of this fabrication was happenstance. Trump is set to be inaugurated in less than nine days, and this “story” was timed as one parting shot to take Trump out.
