(NationalSentinel) If the majority of Americans had known that all it would take to finally be rid of California and it’s Left-wing hysteria and craziness was to elect Donald J. Trump president, we might have encouraged the billionaire real estate mogul to run sooner.
Crybaby libs who inhabit the state are so done with Trump (before he’s even taken office) they want to take their ball and not just go home, but make a new home. And, as reported by AMI Newswire, the guy behind it has actual, publicly established ties to Russia, unlike the president-elect:
Secessionists seeking to make California an independent country hope to start gathering signatures for their “Calexit” ballot measure in a few weeks even as they come under fire for ties to Moscow.
The secessionists say they plan to highlight divisions between the state’s voters and the Trump administration.
But an economic impact analysis released this week on the plan to make the Golden State an independent nation has raised questions about the measure’s legality. And the pro-independence Yes California organization’s decision to open a California cultural center in Russia last month by partnering with a Kremlin-funded group has also raised eyebrows.
Yes California’s founder, Louis Marinelli, who currently lives in Russia, opened the cultural center in Moscow with a partner, the Anti-Globalization Movement of Russia. Yes California hopes to open similar venues in other nations to promote the independence movement.
“We are not requesting any kind of military assistance from Russia,” Marinelli said in a video on the Yes California website. “… We’re opening up a conversation in Russia.”
Oh, well that’s good, the ‘not requesting any kind of military assistance from Russia’ part. Can you imagine Vladimir Putin even considering something like that? No one said these libs are rational, or even smart. They’re just ticked off they didn’t get their way Nov. 8.
But nevertheless, no matter how goofy this is and unlikely to go anywhere–the Civil War settled the question over whether states had a right to leave the union once they joined–there are plenty of conservatives who would be happy to see a Calexit happen for real. And maybe California could take Oregon and Washington State with it, guaranteeing a future of conservative government focused on making America great again, and then keeping it that way, while the newly departed states go full communist-socialist and wind up like Venezuela and Cuba.
The state Attorney General’s Office expects to issue a title and summary for the ballot measure – dubbed “Calexit: The California Independence Plebiscite of 2019” – by Jan. 25. That would clear the way for supporters to collect the more than half-million signatures needed to place the measure on the November 2018 ballot.
This initial 2018 measure seeks to repeal a section in the state constitution that says, “The State of California is an inseparable part of the United States of America, and the United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land.” It also would allow voters to decide if a plebiscite should be held in March 2019 that asks, “Should California become a free, sovereign and independent country?”
If somehow this effort is successful, conservatives will be able to free up at least 54 electoral votes for Republican candidates, not that it mattered to Trump’s victory. So while it’s tempting to tell the whining hordes in California they have to buck up and ‘endure’ a Trump presidency like conservatives had to put up with Obama’s corruption and Leftist activism, it might be easier to tell Californians, don’t go away mad…just go away.Click here for reuse options!
