George Soros says he wants Trump ‘to fail’ as he loses $1 billion since the election

When the right said this about Obama, the Left went off

(NationalSentinel) Eight years ago, talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh made liberal heads explode when he said of the pending presidency of Barack Obama: “I hope he fails.”

Now that Donald J. Trump is set to become our next president, the angry Left sees no hypocrisy in billionaire Leftie George Soros saying the exact same thing.

As reported by Fox News:

Billionaire investor and Democratic donor George Soros said in an interview Thursday that “people like me” would like President-elect Donald Trump to fail as president.

He made the comment during an interview with Bloomberg News at his annual media dinner at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The 86-year-old was recently in the news when he reportedly lost nearly $1 billion after Trump’s election over a too-cautious approach to the market.

“I personally am convinced that he is going to fail,” Soros said. “Not because of people like me who would like him to fail. But because his ideas that guide him are inherently self-contradictory and the contradictions are actually already embodied by his advisers…and his cabinet.”

In truth, Trump has picked some of the brightest, most capable people with track records of accomplishment to be in his Cabinet–and after all, it’s Soros who has lost a small fortune since the election.

But more than that, this just demonstrates once again the pure hatred of the Left. When Limbaugh made his comments eight years ago, he made them in the context of hoping that Obama failed to push through his far-Left agenda (he didn’t fail in that); Soros makes his comments in a completely different manner–he wants Trump to fail because he wants American-style democracy to fail.

How do we know? Because Soros is on record repeatedly calling for a world government (that he would of course have a major role in running). Just last year, Fox News noted, he called for a “global system of political decision-making.”

Hoping a president with whom you disagree with politically does not get his agenda through because you think it will be harmful for the country is not hatred. Hoping a president fails because you want the form of government to change is hatred.

Soros has become wealthy, in part, thanks to the greatness of America. But he has also worked behind the scenes for years trying to subvert America and turn it into one giant Venezuela. Here’s hoping the Trump administration doesn’t fail to neuter this man and render him completely irrelevant.

A jail cell would accomplish that. After all he’s done to subvert our Constitution and create mayhem and chaos, he’s earned it.
