(NationalSentinel) It has been days since a single federal judge in Washington state claimed the power to stop a wartime president from issuing an executive order protecting the country from potential terrorist infiltration.
Upheld on appeal by a three-judge panel from the 9th Circuit, the most overturned federal district in the land, after a ham-fisted, half-hearted defense by a liberal Justice Department attorney, the floodgates remain wide open, the judges’ order gleefully enforced by Alt-Left careerists in the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security, both of which work for the president.
Frankly, it’s high time that President Donald J. Trump take on the role of Abraham Lincoln, who assumed great powers to act in defense of the nation during a time of war and national emergency.
Without congressional approval, Lincoln spent funds to raise an army and navy; suspend habeas corpus; order the blockade of another country (the Confederacy); and divided the U.S. into military districts run by generals. While the country convulsed, Lincoln acted; at one point when the Supreme Court ruled his suspension of habeas corpus was unconstitutional, he threatened to send the Army to arrest Chief Justice Roger Taney.
As Lincoln prosecuted the war, Congress eventually passed legislation authorizing, after the fact, many of the actions Lincoln took. And the nation’s highest court summarily ruled that the actions taken were necessary to save the union.

While we’re not a nation at war with itself, you’d be hard-pressed to believe that on the outside looking in. Thanks to the Alt-Left and the Democratic Party, anti-Trump forces are doing all they can to thwart, disrupt and delegitimize Trump, even to the point of potentially harming the country.
But we are a nation at war – with militant Islamic terrorism. And as such, Trump has every right and every responsibility to act in a manner befitting a commander-in-chief during a time of war. And that would include ignoring petty little judges who are attempting to make national security policy when they have no constitutional or statutory power to do so.
Every day that his executive order banning travel to the U.S. from seven failed or failing countries identified by the Obama administration to be incubators of terrorism is not enforced, it is another day the enemy is permitted to infiltrate our country.
Even President Bashar al-Assad, leader of what’s left of Syria, has said as much, telling Yahoo News some “refugees” are “definitely” terrorists.
Enough is enough. The perpetually angry Alt-Left and the Democratic Party it has overrun are not in power and thus do not get to make policy decisions. Trump won the election; Trump is commander-in-chief; we are a nation at war; our citizens are at risk; and he has the authority to act. The Judicial Branch has nothing to say about it, period.
America elected you to act, Mr. President. You should. The law is on your side. Precedence is on your side. Most importantly, the Constitution is on your side.
