Will there come a time when Trump will have to charge Obama with sedition?

What the former president is planning to do borders on criminality

By J. D. Heyes

(NationalSentinelActivism: The last time I checked, Donald J. Trump was constitutionally elected president and became the duly authorized successor to the Oval Office. So what does former President Barack Obama think he’s doing in setting up an ‘opposition nerve center’ in his home less than two miles from the White House?

According to a Friday report in the UK Daily Mail, Obama moved his longtime personal advisor, Valerie Jarrett, into his home recently, where she and he will begin plotting ways to – quote – protect his legacy – unquote – from being dismantled by Trump and the GOP Congress.

“Obama is dismayed at the way Trump is tearing down his legacy—ObamaCare, the social safety net and the welcome mat for refugees he put in place,” said a “source” close to the Obama family, in an interview with the British paper.

“He had hoped to write his memoirs, golf to his heart’s content. and bask in the glory of his eight years in power and the progressive achievements he brought about. Instead, he is going to be leading the fight and strategy to topple Trump.”

The source also told the paper that Jarrett and Michelle Obama are also going to be “strategizing” on ways to oppose the president.

The paper added:

Obama’s goal, according to a close family friend, is to oust Trump from the presidency either by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment.

This is simply unacceptable.

On the one hand, this doesn’t surprise me. I’ve known for months now that Obama wasn’t going away, that he never planned to just sit back, play golf and “bask in his accomplishments.” In December we reported that Obama will become such a post-presidential political player that the Trump administration will have to remind the press that he’s no longer president – The Donald is.

Obama even gave away his future plans to remain ‘engaged’ during his last address to the nation:

As I prepare to take on the even more important role of citizen, know that I will be there with you every step of the way to ensure that this country forever strives to live up to the incredible promise of our founding — that all of us are created equal, and all of us deserve every chance to live out our dreams.

I promise you that next year Michelle and I are going to be right there with you, and the clouds are going to start parting and the sun is going to come back out, and we’re going to be busy, involved in the amazing stuff that we’ve been doing all these years before.

Now, most presidents in the past have been content to fade into the background after their White House stint; Democrats in the modern era seem to be the exception. Bill Clinton couldn’t do without constant attention and neither could his first lady, Hillary, who went on to run for and win a U.S. Senate seat from New York, then became Obama’s secretary of state, then Trump’s Democratic opponent. In fact, even she has reemerged once more, leading many people to believe that she’ll try to run again in 2020 (narcissist alert).

But on the other hand, consider this: Where is it written that only Obama gets to have a ‘legacy,’ that only his policies should be preserved forever, that only his presidency should endure no matter who is in office?

Because the last time I checked, each successive president comes in with a mandate from the people to enact his policies, and Trump is certainly no different. In fact I would argue that Trump’s mandate is even bigger than Obama’s was in 2012, considering that Trump’s win was accompanied by six straight years of GOP gains – in Congress, in statehouses around the country, and in governorships.

I’m not saying Obama has no right to continue being active politically, but to do so with the express purpose of undermining a legitimately elected president and helping to plan and execute his impeachment is incredibly arrogant, uncalled for and maybe even seditious.

I have no illusions about Trump and his team being able to counter and parry the attacks that have come and will come from the insane, angry, Marxist Left. But Obama’s advantage is that the Deep State is on his side, as we’ve seen already with the political lynching of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and the current assault against Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

So Trump and his team will have to move quickly – to dispose of these Deep State operatives by replacing them with loyalists who can fend off attacks from the inside and provide the White House with warning. Obama will be operating from far less of an advantage if Trump is able to do that.

Meantime, Americans who supported the president will be needed more than ever to help him fend off the successive waves of baseless, meritless, unsubstantiated attacks against him and his inner circle. Take what you read in the discredited mainstream media with a grain of salt; they are the biggest purveyors of fake news out there today. If we can help the president and the GOP Congress be successful, the promise of a new American greatness Trump envisions will be realized; if Obama is successful, then our Republic is doomed to failure.

We can’t let Obama and his forces be successful.

At some point the president may even have to consider whether Obama’s actions are purely political in nature, or if they meet the legal definition of sedition.

Time for the Democrats to wake up and stop ‘the swamp’ from riding on their back! Kick them off.
