(NationalSentinel) Political Media: The discredited and hate-filled Left-wing Washington media loves a good socialist authoritarian when they see one, and if he just so happens to be a billionaire who supports Left-wing causes, then they’re just fine with that, too.
Which is why the Alt-Left media loves George Soros, despite the fact that a growing number of government leaders in Europe and the U.S. are sick and tired of his treasonous meddling.
As noted by The Daily Signal‘s Mike Gonzalez, the West’s choice does not have to be between Soros and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the latter of whom is busy trying to reassert Russia onto the world stage:
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” is a proverb that has long, and apparently mistakenly, been attributed to Bedouins.
It’s unfair to them, as it contains the false-dichotomy fallacy. Sometimes the saying is correct, as when the Allies decided in World War II to side with Josef Stalin against Adolf Hitler. Other times, both options are equally bad.
This is, however, the way many people insist on reacting to George Soros and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the two men currently going toe-to-toe for control of much of the globe’s hearts and minds. You either side with one or with the other.
Or, if you attack one of them, it’s because you are in league with the other.
Gonzales notes that a group of Republican senators who have asked Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to investigate widespread reports from several countries that Soros’ Open Society Foundations are pushing “a progressive agenda” in an attempt to “invigorate the political left,” were recently accused of being Russian dupes by idiot Left-wing writers at Politico – simply by virtue of asking Tillerson to investigate what everyone knows Soros is doing, and has been doing, for years.
That GOP-led effort, according to the hacks at Politico, amount to “an accusation that’s being fomented and championed by Moscow.”
That an attack on Soros would be championed by Putin, there’s no doubt. The Kremlin leader is an opportunist who will enter any theater that beckons him by absurdly portraying himself as the guardian of Western values.
And inviting Putin to do just that is what Soros’ efforts in other countries often does.
But the notion that these senators’ action and that of several House members who have likewise asked the State Department for explanations as to why the U.S. Agency for International Development is teaming up with Soros around the world has been “fomented” by Putin, as Politico put it, is ludicrous.
Soros has been funding Left-wing socialist movements via scores of non-governmental organizations for years, and Politico knows that. How bad is the meddling? So much so that his home country of Hungary, along with other European centers, are making legislative and regulatory moves to wall him and his NGO’s off.

Hungary plans to crack down on non-governmental organizations linked to billionaire George Soros now that Donald Trump will occupy the White House, according to the deputy head of Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s party.
The European Union member will use “all the tools at its disposal” to “sweep out” NGOs funded by the Hungarian-born financier, which “serve global capitalists and back political correctness over national governments,” Szilard Nemeth, a vice president of the ruling Fidesz party, told reporters [recently].
That Soros has worn out his welcome in many parts of the West, including the U.S., has nothing to do with Putin and everything to do with Soros’ activities. That Republicans are the only ones who see Soros as a threat makes perfect sense, given Soros’ longstanding ties to the Democratic Party.
Trump-inspired populism is the impetus behind the drive to purge Soros’ cancerous presence from an increasing number of governments, not Putin love. The reality is, governments (including ours) can do both – oppose Putin when it where it makes sense, while ridding the political landscape of the world’s foremost globalist meddler.
That concept appears to be far too rational for the superficial propagandists posing as journalists at Politico.
