(NationalSentinel) In today’s increasingly crowded alternative media environment, it is often very easy to miss important stories.
Here at The National Sentinel, we understand that daily life is busy, and most people don’t have a lot of spare time to surf various sites. That’s what made the development of the email newsletter so profoundly important – it alleviated the need for you to have to remember to visit the sites you enjoy reading by sending you a “reminder” via your email.
That was a masterful stroke of convenience, if you ask me. I can’t tell you how many email newsletters I’ve subscribed to and peruse daily. It’s really helped me – and our publication – stay on top of the most important stories that impact your life in some direct or indirect way.

It was also a masterful stroke of marketing. Email newsletters are a great way to send fantastic, money-saving offers to a captive audience, providing sites with the revenue necessary to operate and, thus, continue to provide top-notch news coverage to a wider audience.
You may have noticed there are not a lot of ads on our site. That was by design; I fully understand how distracting a page full of ads can be to your reading experience, not to mention all of those ads that pop up, pop under, pop around, etc. Distracting and frustrating are they, which is why you’ll never see them here. But we have chosen to utilize our email newsletter as our principle marketing platform because a) it’s convenient for you; b) it’s convenient for us; and c) it’s the best way can continue to bring you quality news reporting without driving you nuts every time you click on our site or one of our stories.
