This is CNN: Network’s credibility problem helps explain Americans’ low trust in media

Speaking of media dishonesty, why is the “Russia” focus on Donald J. Trump and not the Obama administration?

(National SentinelMedia: Those of us attempting to provide Americans with a source of high-quality and, most importantly factual, reporting and analysis, are really quite perturbed at CNNand the Washington Post, and The New York Times, and the rest of the “legacy” news media along the Washington, D.C.-New York corridor: These outlets have so tainted our industry. Worse, they almost daily add to the reasons why less than 1-in-4 Americans have any trust at all in the press.

CNN is only the most recent culprit, after the network was outed by one of its own producers for being so hung up on Trump hate that all other important stories and issues have been put on the back burner.

Worse, the network was forced to retract a story last week after relying on a bogus Deep State ‘source’ to claim that congressional investigators were probing Anthony Scaramuci, a member of the transition team’s executive committee, as well as a fundraiser and adviser for the president’s campaign, for alleged nefarious “Russia” ties.

So, it should be no surprise, then, that – according to a new Gallup survey – trust in American media remains historically low:

Despite an ongoing controversy over “fake news,” more Americans this year (27%) say they have a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in newspapers than did so last year (20%). Although confidence in newspapers is up from last year’s record low, it remains lower than it typically was in the 1980s and 1990s.

Oh, and about that ‘small increase’ in confidence in newspapers? That’s being driven by Democrats who are daily being fed a steady diet of fake news about the Trump-Russia “collusion” by the same Left-wing establishment media cabal:

Democrats primarily are driving the overall increase in confidence in newspapers this year from last year’s all-time low. In 2016, 28% of Democrats had “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in printed media, but that percentage rose to 46% this year. Sixteen percent of Republicans last year had confidence but, in contrast to Democrats, that has edged down to 13% this year.

Imagine the confidence percentage for Democrats if these same media liars had been so aggressive covering the Obama administration’s admitted failure to effectively deal with Russian interference in the first place. We’d bet it would be quite lower.

Speaking of media dishonesty, why is the “Russia” focus on Donald J. Trump and not the Obama administration, considering that Trump wasn’t in office and Obama…was? If there were evidence of “collusion” or some other nefarious dealings among Team Trump and Moscow, don’t you think that, after a year, the FBI would have found it by now?
