Trump economic advisor Cohn challenges prez on Charlottesville: ‘We have to do a better job’ condemning hate

If this is Cohn working “on behalf of the American people,” we’d hate to see him working against us

(National SentinelWest Wing: White House economic advisor Gary Cohn has just thrown his boss, President Donald J. Trump, under the same bus the disgustingly dishonest “mainstream” media, Democrats, cowardly RINOs have.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Cohn indicated that Trump did not condemn neo-Nazis and white supremacists strongly enough.

“I believe this administration can and must do better in consistently and unequivocally condemning these groups and do everything we can to heal the deep divisions that exist in our communities,” Cohn said.

He then took the media’s line, claiming that supporters and members of Alt-Left groups like Antifa who showed up to do battle with the neo-Nazis — and who have been showing up armed to do battle with all conservatives and supporters of the president for months — were merely standing up for “equality and freedom.”

“Citizens standing up for equality and freedom can never be equated with white supremacists, neo-Nazis, and the KKK,” he said.

He then defended his decision to stay on the job in the Trump administration amid calls for him and Cabinet members to resign. “I feel a duty to fulfill my commitment to work on behalf of the American people,” he said. “But I also feel compelled to voice my distress over the events of the last two weeks.

“As a Jewish American, I will not allow neo-Nazis ranting ‘Jews will not replace us’ to cause this Jew to leave his job,” he said.

It should be noted that Hitler’s Left-wing Brown Shirts battled and battered his political opponents too, which included communists but also just political opponents.

No similarity at all between modern-day Antifa thugs and Brown Shirts, eh, Gary?

Sane people do not support white supremacists — or black, brown and pink supremacists — or the KKK, or neo-Nazis.

But honest people are able to stand up and equally blame all parties responsible for today’s climate of political hate and violence — like Trump did.

If this is Cohn working “on behalf of the American people,” we’d hate to see him working against us.
