(National Sentinel) Not Camelot: Bill and Hillary Clinton allegedly have not been speaking to each other for months after he took a red pen to her manuscript, “What Happened,” before it was published.
As reported by the UK’s Daily Mail, he heavily criticized the title and much of the manuscript itself, then tossed it in the trash can after she refused to accept his corrections:
Bill and Hillary Clinton are not speaking to each other after a blazing argument over her election book, it has been claimed.
The former President threw a manuscript in the trash after Hillary ignored his advice not to publish it, according to author Ed Klein.
Bill had red-penned the book in an attempt to improve it, a friend allegedly told Klein, but flew into a rage when Hillary refused to read any of his notes.
According to Page Six, the friend said: “He told her the book made her look bewildered, angry and confused, and that those were poor qualities in a person who aspired to be a world leader.
“He hated the title because calling it ‘What Happened’ would only make people say, ‘You lost,'” the friend added.
“He urged her to postpone the pub date and rewrite the book, but she yelled at him and said: ‘The book is finished and that’s how it’s going to be published.'”
The source told Klein after that the couple has been speaking mostly through friends and lawyers.
The Clintons’ world has certainly changed since she was electorally shellacked by President Donald J. Trump last November. In addition to writing poorly received books, the once-vaunted Clinton Foundation, which was raking in tens of millions of dollars from foreign donors hoping to get Hillary’s ear after they expected her to win, has taken a huge hit, laying off personnel as donations dried up.
