(National Sentinel) Trolling the Troll: President Donald J. Trump on Tuesday caused an uproar among Democrats and the media after a suggestive tweet aimed at Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.
“Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office ‘begging’ for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump,” Trump wrote. “Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”
Gillibrand later complained that the president’s tweet was sexually suggestive.
The senator has called on the president to resign after being accused of sexual harassment by a number of women, though some believe the allegations are politically motivated.
Trump has also denounced the womens’ accusations as false, accusing them of joining a politically motivated plot against him.
“Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia – so now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met,” he wrote on Twitter. “FAKE NEWS!”
Three of Trump’s accusers — Rachel Crooks, Samantha Holvey, and Jessica Leeds — again went public with their stories, working with a leftist documentary crew.
They demanded that Congress investigate their claims, while a number of Democrats responded by demanding he resign as well.
Backers of Trump say Democrats essentially threw Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., and Rep. John Conyers, R-Mich., under the bus last week by demanding they resign over allegations of sexual misconduct so they could justify calling for Trump’s resignation.
