BIAS: Google’s new ‘fact check’ service is targeting primarily CONSERVATIVE news sites

(National SentinelAnti-Trust: An investigation into Google’s new fact-checking service has found that the search-and-media mega-site is overwhelmingly targeting conservative outlets.

As reported by The Daily Caller, liberal and Left-leaning sites are rarely singled out for alleged factual errors. In fact, no prominent liberal sites are being targeted.

“And not only is Google’s fact-checking highly partisan — perhaps reflecting the sentiments of its leaders — it is also blatantly wrong, asserting sites made ‘claims’ they demonstrably never made,” The DC noted.

When searching for a media outlet that leans to the political Right, such as The Daily Caller, Google gives users details on the sidebar that includes what topics the site typically writes about, as well as a section titled “Reviewed Claims.”

Vox and other left-wing outlets and blogs like Gizmodo, are not given the same fact-check treatment. When searching their names, a “Topics they write about” section appears, but there is no “Reviewed Claims” section.

A quick investigation by The National Sentinel confirmed The Daily Caller’s claims.

In searching “The Washington Post,” not only was the “Reviewed Claims” section absent, but there was a section labeled “Awards” in addition to “Writes About.”

That was the same for The New York Times. For CNN, there were no categories at all, like Vox and other Left-leaning outlets searched.

All three — the Times, the Post, and CNN — have published a number of stories on the Trump administration over the past year that proved to be false or had to be retracted, yet there are no “Reviewed Claims” for any of them in Google listings.

ABC News recently suspended one of its reporters, Brian Ross, for filing a fake news story regarding former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, but it, too, has no “reviewed” listings.

  1. Your possibly confusing the term conservative with Christian.Theyre most likely attackng Christian sites ,or those that represent Christian beliefs. That’s thervenemy ,all of the corporate cannblas, and indeed Corporate Law abiding operations, including all republican and democratic government’s all are Anti Christian operations in Truth.ThatsxthecLaw.under the moral authority of the Pope.

  2. “If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself.” “There will come a day, when all the lies will collapse under their own weight, and truth will again triumph.”
    Joseph Goebbels

  3. People need to becawre that Ex Pope Benedict shortlyvafter resigning was quoted by thecSydneybMorning Herald as saying that ,they in the Vatican Hate Truth and Beauty. Now he is a theologian and understands that Jesus ,is the Way ,the the Truth and the Light. He knows that under Catholic theology Jesus is God and God is Love and Love created the Universe which is Natural and therefore beauty. Benedict went on ,by example to explain in practical manner how they,in there ,despise Christians and ridicule them behind their backs by giving an example of them in practice demonstrating their true beliefs He concluded by stating that he would be spending the rest of his life praying ,not for peace or an end to hunger and poverty or inequality ,but for the Church itself implied subtly ,perhaps, was the impression that despite his lifetime sacrifice in praying for the Catholic Church ,and its soul ,implied, that it possibly vehement be enough to deliver it’s Salvation or redemption. For someone of his stature to say they hate truth and beauty means he is saying they are the anti Christ .To those who have ears to hear.
