(National Sentinel) Deep State: Attorney and Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett said during an appearance on Sean Hannity’s program Wednesday night that he believes current and former FBI and Justice Department officials are in “serious legal jeopardy” over procedures they used to justify spying on the Trump campaign.
Jarrett explained why he believes former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and former acting Attorney General Sally Yates, may be in trouble.
“Who do you see now is in serious legal jeopardy?” Hannity asked Jarrett regarding revelations contained in the FISA memo released by the House Intelligence Committee detailing how officials used the unverified “Trump dossier” to obtain a warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
“I think James Comey has signed off on the [FISA warrant], Rod Rosenstein who signed off on it, Andrew McCabe signed off on it,” replied Jarrett.
“Sally Yates, as well,” he continued.
“Using a fake document as an officer of the court to convince just to spy on on an American citizen is six different crimes,” he said.
Jarrett said the four alleged committed “abuse of power, false and misleading statements, perjury, it’s major fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud and obstruction of justice.”
“Those are the crimes and people need to be prosecuted,” he said.
