(National Sentinel) Primaries: Fox News host Judge Janine Pirro railed against GOP leaders during her program Saturday evening, urging voters to oust them in the next primary after they led the Republican majority to pass a massive spending bill that doesn’t fund most of President Donald J. Trump’s priorities.
“In truth, the president is surrounded by inept, incompetent warriors. And this bill is a reflection of just that. Total betrayal by the senate and house leadership,” she said of House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.
“How dare these Republicans play politics with our lives and the lives of our children with all this namby-pamby nonsense about their security border! The president and the people who voted for him have been betrayed by Speaker Paul Ryan and Leader Mitch McConnell,” Pirro said.
“And the people from Kentucky and Wisconsin need to make sure that these guys are defeated in the next election so this president can carry on the agenda that we elected him to do.”
The $1.3 trillion spending measure passed Friday and signed into law by Trump provides little funding for border security and no funding for the president’s border wall.
Additionally, the bill fully funds Planned Parenthood with $500 million, does not eliminate any of the federal agencies Trump wants axed, and provides billions in additional funding for entitlement programs and Obamacare markets.
The bill does provide a substantial increase in military spending, which was a top priority for the White House and the president’s stated reason for signing the measure.
Trump also railed against the fact that lawmakers and the administration had little time to read the 2,200-plus page bill, while pledging he would never again sign a similar measure without having time to study it.
