(National Sentinel) Corruption: Former U.S. attorney Joe diGenova, a one-time special counsel during the Clinton era, appeared on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News program Thursday night to discuss recent revelations regarding Obama-era spying on President Donald J. Trump’s campaign.
At one point the subject turned to former CIA Director John Brennan, who has been sniping at Trump since he left office.
DiGenova had some legal advice for the man who an increasing number of insiders think was the ringleader in all of this — ‘get a lawyer because you’ll be in front of a grand jury soon.’
“We know that Hillary Clinton was illegally exonerated. We knew that a year ago,” diGenova told Carlson.
“We know that there was a substantial effort to frame the current president of the United States with crimes by infiltrating his campaign and then his administration with spies that the FBI had set upon them,” he continued.
“We have learned that the crimes were committed by the FBI, senior members of the Department of Justice, John Brennan, Mr. [James] Clapper [former Director of National Intelligence], Mr. [James] Comey [former FBI director] and others associated with the Democratic Party and Donald Trump and his associates committed no crimes,” diGenova said.
“Mr. Brennan who loves to make comments about the process get himself a good lawyer, not a good writer,” the still-practicing attorney said.
“Yes, NBC News’ consultant, the former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, the most partisan hack leader of the CIA needs a very, very good lawyer…He’s going to be in front of a grand jury shortly.“
Earlier, diGenova appeared on Newsmax TV to make another startling prediction.
He thinks AG Jeff Sessions and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein will be the next Trump administration officials out the door as the president begins to clean house and reinstate trust and respect in the nation’s top law enforcement agencies.
“If it comes out that Jeff Sessions has not authorized a grand jury into all those unmaskings, all those leaks, … and Ben Rhodes and John Brennan and James Clapper have not been authorized for subpoenas, … if he has not authorized that, he’s going to be fired,” he predicted.
He knows that he said, because he’s been told both Sessions and Rosenstein have both been to the White House twice in the past two weeks to meet with Chief of Staff John Kelly, who informed them both their jobs are “not secure.”
“The president has had it up to his scuppers with these clowns and he has every right in the world to be furious with the incompetence of the Department of Justice under Rosenstein and Sessions,” diGenova explained, adding, “I have been told that by people who know.”
