(National Sentinel) Beyond Belief: The New York Times once truly was the “paper of record.” The Old Gray Lady has been around for more than a hundred years; it’s been a stalwart in the American media.
But the paper has allowed itself to become a propaganda tool of the Deep State, there to spread fake news and false allegations about Team Trump since before the president took office, all under the guise of giving those lies street cred.
Take the news regarding spies Obama’s FBI and DoJ cultivated inside the 2016 Trump campaign.
No less than The New York Times is trying to convince you that they weren’t “spying” on the campaign — that they were part of some legitimate counterintelligence investigation launched by the FBI after legitimate evidence was discovered indicating that then-GOP candidate Donald J. Trump was working with a foreign government — Russia — to undermine America’s political system.
On Saturday, the Times actually ran the following headline:
The reporters actually wrote that Trump made his claim “without any evidence.”
Trump is president of the United States. Trump has access to all the evidence in this case because he’s privy to it.
In other words, he knows what he’s talking about, just like he knew what he was talking about in January 2017 when he said Obama was “wiretapping” his campaign (just like the Times reported — then later denied).
Remember this headline?
But now, as before, the Times is trying to get the public to disbelieve our own eyes and comprehension abilities.
We know that the Deep State source used to cultivate at least two spies — Trump campaign figures Carter Page and George Papadopoulos — is likely Cambridge University Prof. Stefan Halper, who worked in three Republican administrations (let that sink in) and who is a known asset to U.S. and British intelligence.
They became spies for the Deep State — willing or unwilling. Period. There’s no denying that.
What’s even more grotesque about the Times’ piece is it attempts to convince us that the underlying counterintelligence investigation was some real thing — as though there really was legitimate evidence that Team Trump was doing something nefarious with Russia.
There is no evidence to support that claim because there was never any evidence. The entire investigation was part of a scheme to keep Trump out of the White House or undermine him so badly if he won he could be driven from office.
How do we know?
Because the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., has said so.
What’s more, Democrats have yet to produce any evidence that refutes what Nunes said.
But here’s The New York Times, tool of the Deep State, completely abandoning what little journalistic integrity it had left, to try to convince you that spies inside the Trump campaign really weren’t spies, and that Obama’s investigation really was legitimate — when it wasn’t.
“This is really important to us because the intelligence investigation uses the tools of our intelligence services that are not supposed to be used on American citizens,” Nunes told Fox Business last month.
“So, we’ve long wanted to know what intelligence did you have that actually led to this investigation. So what we found now after the investigators have reviewed it is, in fact, there was no intelligence,” he continued.
The legacy media has prostituted itself out to the Deep State in an all-out effort to get rid of Trump. And now it’s keeping the big lies alive ahead of DoJ Michael Horowitz’s damning report that will name names and lead to indictments.
