Deep State DESPERATION: Brennan fires off warning tweet to Ryan, McConnell as walls close in on Trump campaign spy scandal

(National SentinelLashing Out: Many politicos and observers have long thought that former CIA Director John Brennan was Barack Obama’s point man in the plot to undermine or even overthrow our duly-elected president.

It’s looking more by the day that those political observers are astute — and correct.

Leaked reports last week to The New York Times and Washington Post stated unequivocally that the Obama regime launched a spy operation against the 2016 Trump campaign.

Many saw those leaks as an attempt to get ahead of the story before DoJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz releases his long-awaited report detailing FBI and Justice Department malfeasance and illegality during the 2016 election.

Horowitz’s report is also expected to name names.

So it comes as no surprise that “Mr. Non-Partisan Citizen” Brennen continues to snipe at Trump and Republicans in Congress.

As the walls close in, Brennan appears more desperate than ever. He tweeted a ‘warning’ to House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell that they — not hack pro-Hillary operator Brennan — are threatening our ‘democracy’ by allowing Trump to order the Justice Department to look into the spying operation.

To which Brennan replied:

“Senator McConnell & Speaker Ryan: If Mr. Trump continues along this disastrous path, you will bear major responsibility for the harm done to our democracy. You do a great disservice to our Nation & the Republican Party if you continue to enable Mr. Trump’s self-serving actions.”

Given that Brennan’s in hot water — a perjury trap — this behavior isn’t surprising.

In testimony to the House Intelligence Committee in May 2017, Brennan claimed that the dossier bought and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign, via a law firm, via an opposition research firm, did not have any bearing at all into the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) report on Russian interference into the 2016 election.

He also made similar subsequent claims to a variety of media outlets.

Investigative journalist Paul Sperry has reported that two senior officials have refuted that claim.

Sperry also reported last week that Brennan, along with FBI counterterrorism official Peter Stzrok and then-Secretary of State John Kerry were setting up espionage traps for minor Trump campaign players in the summer of 2016.

“DEVELOPING: A major new front is opening in the political espionage scandal. In summer 2016, Brennan with his FBI liaison Strzok, along with help from Kerry @ State, were trying to set Russian espionage traps for minor players in the Trump campaign through cultivated intel assets,” he tweeted.

In an interview with Fox News last week, former federal prosecutor Joe diGenova said that it’s time Brennan found himself “a good lawyer.”

“We know that Hillary Clinton was illegally exonerated. We knew that a year ago,” diGenova told Tucker Carlson.

“We know that there was a substantial effort to frame the current president of the United States with crimes by infiltrating his campaign and then his administration with spies that the FBI had set upon them,” he continued.

“We have learned that the crimes were committed by the FBI, senior members of the Department of Justice, John Brennan, Mr. [James] Clapper [former Director of National Intelligence], Mr. [James] Comey [former FBI director] and others associated with the Democratic Party and Donald Trump and his associates committed no crimes,” diGenova said.

“Mr. Brennan, who loves to make comments about the process, should get himself a good lawyer, not a good writer,” the still-practicing attorney said, “because he’s going to be in front of a grand jury soon.”
