(National Sentinel) Monumental Hypocrite: The “Reverend” Jesse Jackson has spent his entire life shaking down corporations and billionaires over phony claims of “racism.”
Over the course of his ‘career,’ one of his targets was none other than billionaire businessman Donald J. Trump, who lavished monetary gifts on Jackson and his causes.
“I want to express thanks to you, Donald Trump, for being with us tonight,” Jackson said at an event in January 1998 that was captured live at the time by C-SPAN2.
“We need your building skills, your gusto, your rent package for people on Wall Street who represent diversity, and, we thank you for coming tonight,” he said, sharing a laugh with Trump. “Let’s give Donald Trump a big hand.”
At another event, Jackson also praised Trump, calling him a “friend.”
“I now want to bring forth a friend who has…well, he is deceptive in that his social style is of such one can miss his seriousness and his commitment,” said Jackson at an event commemorating his Wall Street Project, adding: “But his success is beyond argument.”
“When we opened this Wall Street Project and talked about it, he gave us space at 40 Wall Street which was to make a statement about our having a presence there,” said Jackson. “And beyond that, in terms of reaching out, and being inclusive, he’s done that too.”
Jackson also said Trump “created a comfort zone for many people” when the civil rights leader ran for the presidency in 1984 and 1988. He also credited Trump for attending minority business meetings in New York, in order to lend assistance to various causes being pursued.
“He has the sense of the curious, and the will and risk to make things better,” Jackson said. “And so, aside from all his style and his pizzazz, he’s a serious person who’s an effective builder of buildings and builder of people.”
As president Trump has presided over the fastest-growing economy in decades. He’s brought down unemployment to historic levels — especially for black Americans.
He’s pardoned blacks unjustly convicted and imprisoned and is asking NFL players to send him more names of friends and acquaintances who may have been unfairly treated by the justice system.
But to Jackson today, it’s not about all of the positive things POTUS Trump has done for all Americans, including blacks.
It’s just about keeping the races stirred up and divided. Because that’s what he does best.
In an interview with Laura Ingraham Thursday, Jackson refused to acknowledge any of the positive developments for blacks under POTUS Trump’s leadership.
Rather, he sought to give Barack Obama all the credit, despite the fact that the first black president’s administration was horrendous for all Americans including the black community.
The Daily Wire reported:
On Thursday night, discussing with Reverend Jesse Jackson the brouhaha between President Trump and the Philadelphia Eagles over Trump rescinding the team’s invitation to the White House, Fox News host Laura Ingraham took on Jackson’s insistence that some black American celebrities were “insulted by the violations of our people by this president.”
Ingraham pointed out that the Eagles only planned to send a few of the members of their team to the White House, after sending 80 names to the Secret Service. “That’s really lame,“ she said. Jackson replied that Colin Kaepernick, LeBron James and Steph Curry were “insulted by the violations of our people by this president.”
Ingraham fired back, as the screen pointed out that black unemployment had plunged to record-low numbers, “Is that because of black unemployment? Is that part of the violations of the people? Is there any good news for black America under this administration? Do you like the unemployment numbers? Do you like small businesses being created?”
Jackson responded, “He inherited a growing economy. When President Barack came, we lost 800,000 jobs that month.”
Ingraham said (of Trump): “He gets no credit?”
After Jackson praised Obama’s record, Ingraham noted, “Wages weren’t going up.”
Jackson then attacked Trump for his remarks about tariffs and the G-7…
What a disgusting display of dishonesty and disloyalty, all for the purposes of pushing the big lie that POTUS Trump is a racist.
