(National Sentinel) Deep State: For weeks we’ve been waiting for Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz to release his bombshell report detailing infractions of policy and, perhaps, of law, regarding the FBI’s investigation into the Hillary Clinton email scandal.
At first, we were told “spring.” Then it was “May.”
Now here it is, nearly the middle of June, and still no report. Earlier reports noted that Horowitz has informed Congress his lengthy report was in the ‘final stages.’
What’s going on? Where is it? As POTUS Trump mentioned recently, is the final report being altered to make the guilty look less guilty or worse…innocent?
One former federal prosecutor thinks that’s exactly what’s happening. And he named a name: Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
During an interview with Fox News‘ Sean Hannity, Joe diGenova said he has no doubt that “careerist” Rosenstein is scrubbing Horowitz’s report to protect other careerists.
“Rod Rosenstein is a careerist. He believes in the institution of the DOJ and the FBI to the exclusion of any accusations of fault and what is happening right now is the IG report is being scrubbed by Rosenstein and his minions and people at the FBI and they are removing as much embarrassing information about the bureau as possible,” diGenova said.
He added that what Rosenstein and others within the DoJ are doing is nothing short of disgusting.
“The Deputy Attorney General wants to hurt the president and he wants to prevent the release of truthful information to deny transparency to the American people to protect career people inside the DoJ and the FBI,” diGenova told Hannity.
One other reason for the delay: Rosenstein and other Deep State careerists want to leak-control the narrative.
It should be noted that Horowitz said in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, he will be releasing his report on June 14th, which is President Trump’s birthday.
He also said in the letter he is preparing to testify before the committee June 18.
