(National Sentinel) Demeaning: Left-wing Democrats can’t get out of their own way when it comes to insulting a majority of Americans everytime they open their mouths to opine about POTUS Donald Trump.
The new insult is defining Trump’s supporters as members of a “cult.”
The perpetually-triggered Joy Behar was the latest Democratic supporter to make the comparison. The Daily Caller reported:
“The View” host Joy Behar said that Republicans who were supporting President Donald Trump going into the 2018 midterm elections appear to be “in a cult” Wednesday.
Responding to the idea that Congressman Mark Sanford (R-S.C.) was ousted in his primary on Tuesday by a challenger (Katie Arrington) who vocally supported Trump, Behar also suggested that there was an unwritten rule against challenging Trump.
“…[T]he point seems to be that in all these primaries and probably in the midterms if you dare to speak against the king, Donald Trump — then he will screw with you, and tweet something against you,” she said in a back-and-forth with co-host Megan McCain.
“These guys are either in a cult, and drank the Kool-Aid — I don’t know — or they are afraid they have to go back to their other jobs as exterminators and postal carriers, and one guy is an explosives expert. Another is an emergency dispatcher. They do not want to go back.”
Wasn’t it Hillary’s supporters who were in tears and hysterical when she lost on Election Night in 2016?
And did Obama’s supporters ever abandon him despite multiple credible reports of scandal and corruption throughout his presidency?
That’s how cultists behave, Joy.
Maybe POTUS Trump’s supporters are just that — supporters — because they like what he’s doing on behalf of the country and they believe in his policies.
That’s obviously inconceivable to Left-wing hacks like Joy Behar.
What’s also true is that the Democratic Left doesn’t think Trump supporters are intelligent enough to make the distinction between the man and his policies. So they hurl these insults at Americans in a majority of states who backed him because they don’t have the ability themselves to do the same thing.
Donald Trump at one time may have headed a cult of personality. But Americans did not elect him for that reason.
They elected him because we liked what he had to say. And they will reelect him because we like what he’s doing as president.
