(National Sentinel) So Much Corruption: Barack Obama, on his way out of the Oval Office, had the temerity to claim that ‘not one major scandal’ occurred during his presidency, making his administration the first “in modern history” to be scandal-free.
In a sense, Obama’s correct; his administration did not have one major scandal it had dozens.
Benghazi. Fast and Furious. IRS targeting of conservative groups. Attorney General Holder held in contempt of Congress. And, of course, the granddaddy of them all — Spygate.
But it’s not just that Obama’s administration was probably the most corrupt in modern history, it was the manner in which that culture of corruption a) manifested itself, and b) was even allowed to happen. Because when you think about it, had there been no “swamp” for POTUS Trump to drain, then our system of checks and balances would have worked and the various criminal elements Obama employed or encouraged would either not have existed or would have been dealt with legally.
Case in point: The FBI and the Justice Department, the two most powerful law enforcement entities in the country. Under Obama, they became entities that more resembled the East German Stasi or Soviet KGB: Weaponized extensions of Executive Branch power employed against political enemies.
And that ought to frighten everyone, regardless of party affiliation.
More evidence of this corruption was revealed on Friday. House Freedom Caucus chairman Mark Meadows, R-N.C., suggested there is evidence that someone altered FBI 302 forms — summaries of witness interviews — in the Clinton email and Russian “collusion” investigations.
“There is a growing body of evidence that the FBI made edits and changes to 302’s, or summaries of witness interviews, in both the Clinton case and the early Russia investigation. This is incredibly troubling and needs to be examined. I appreciate the IG looking into it,” he tweeted.

As we previously reported, it’s believed that fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe may have been the one who altered 302s in order to entrap Michael Flynn:
In recent days reports surfaced that fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who has been criminally referred to the U.S. attorney in Washington by DoJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz for allegedly lying to investigators, is seeking use immunity before providing testimony to Congress.
The reasons are clear: McCabe has information that will incriminate him if he talks without first being granted immunity from prosecution.
If he doesn’t get it, his lawyer Michael Bromwich said in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, that McCabe will simply plead the Fifth Amendment.
Now, new information has surfaced that sheds further light on why McCabe may be looking for a ‘get out of jail free’ card.
Senate investigators are said to suspect McCabe; the matter has already been referred to DoJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
And, as investigative journalist Paul Sperry has reported, McCabe and James Comey cleared Trump-hating Acting Attorney General Sally Yates to use the altered 302s to get Flynn.
BREAKING: McCabe & Comey cleared Sally Yates to use Strzok's 302 summary of interview with Gen. Flynn to brief WH counsel & pressure Flynn's firing, because Flynn was no longer under active investigation. Trump could not have "obstructed" an investigation that was no longer open.

Obama’s biggest scandal was ‘transforming’ federal law enforcement into a Democratic political machine.
So much dirt. So much corruption. So little time. Investigations need to turn into prosecutions before the statute of limitations run out.
