(National Sentinel) Oversight: How is it that President Donald Trump is under investigation for “obstruction” but Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein…isn’t?
Because that’s all Rosenstein has done every step of the way as various congressional committees investigate obviously malfeasance, anti-Trump bias, and perhaps even law-breaking in the Hillary Clinton email and Spygate cases.
Republicans in the House have had enough of the BS. And they’ve had enough of Rosenstein.
Tensions boiled over today during testimony by Rosenstein, who was testifying with FBI Director Christopher Wray, before the House Judiciary Committee, as Freedom Caucus member Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio — whose name has been floated as a potential Speaker candidate — slammed the deputy AG for his stonewalling.
The tense Q & A comes the same day the House Republicans passed a resolution demanding the DOJ comply with requests to turn over classified Trump-Russia docs or face impeachment or a contempt charge.
Jordan slammed Rosenstein and reminded him the House was voting to pass a resolution giving him “seven days to get his act together.”
Rosenstein looked visibly uncomfortable at the hearing.
"Your use of this to attack me personally is deeply wrong."

Jordan is right, of course: Rosenstein is a careerist hack who’s trying to protect his department from further embarrassment.
But in the process, he’s preventing real justice from being done.
What are you hiding, AG Rosenstein? Who are you protecting — and why?
