NOT a shock poll: Vast majority of Americans BACK TRUMP’s immigration policies; want LESS, not MORE border enforcement

(National SentinelReal Mainstream: As lunatic Democrats run around calling for open borders, abolishing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, and more illegal aliens, the vast majority of Americans are calling for just the opposite.

And no, they’re not all white people.

A new Harvard-Harris poll found what previous surveys and polls have found: That President Donald Trump’s immigration policies are “mainstream,” not those of the Democratic Party.

As reported by the Washington Examiner:

The new survey is a Harvard-Harris poll, by former Clinton pollster and strategist Mark Penn. It was conducted June 24-25, with 1,448 registered voters.

On the issue of separations, Penn began with a threshold question: “Do you think that people who make it across our border illegally should be allowed to stay in the country or sent home? Sixty-four percent (83 percent of Republicans, 47 percent of Democrats, and 66 percent of independents) said they should be sent home. Thirty-six percent said they should be allowed to stay.

Then, Penn asked: “Do you think that parents with children who make it across our border illegally should be allowed to stay in the country or sent home?” The presence of children made little difference in the result: 61 percent (81 percent of Republicans, 40 percent of Democrats, and 66 percent of independents) said they should be sent home, while 39 percent said they should be allowed to stay.

The survey noted that by far most Americans (88 percent) support keeping illegal migrant families together, and they also blamed the administration for separating families when caught at the border. However, “55 percent (76 percent of Republicans, 39 percent of Democrats, and 55 percent of independents) said illegal immigrant families should be held in custody “until a judge reviews their case” — essentially the new Trump family detention policy,” the Washington Examiner reported.

Here are more polling results:

— 80 percent (84 percent of Republicans, 79 percent of Democrats, and 78 percent of independents) favored hiring more immigration judges “to process people in custody faster”

— 70 percent said the U.S. needs stricter, not looser, immigration laws

— 60 percent support building a combination of physical and electronic barriers across the U.S.-Mexico border

— In addition, 51 percent of Hispanics and 53 percent of blacks want stricter immigration laws too, The Gateway Pundit notes.

The Leftist Marxists attempting to take over the Democratic Party are so far outside the mainstream of America on this issue. They’re never going to win nationally with a platform of ‘open borders, socialism, and abolishing ICE.’

So by all means, we encourage them to continue pushing it.

  1. I don’t understand why people who claim refugee status are not directed to a port of entry that is equipped to handle them, or why EVERYONE attempting to illegally cross the border is not sent back to where they came from. They need to be told that the border is closed to all people without papers, and if they are not going to come legally through the established process, then they will ALL be turned around and sent back home. Why are we wasting all of our resources on these nincompoops, who are doing nothing more than giving the democraps fodder to undermine Trump and the true Republicans. The Republican Party has a long history of values that they support, and those who are renouncing those values should change party affiliation, and stop spitting on the graves of the founders of our Constitution.
