Real Treason: THANKS to the CLINTONS America is now RELIANT on RUSSIA for our strategic uranium

(National SentinelCriminal: In April 2015, The New York Times, of all papers, reported a bombshell: Tens of millions of dollars flowed to the Clinton Foundation during the time that a suspicious deal to sell one-fifth of all strategic reserves of U.S.-held uranium to a Russian firm.

Reporting on the deal involving Uranium One, then a Canadian-held company with uranium assets in the U.S., the paper noted:

The headline on the website Pravda trumpeted President Vladimir V. Putin’s latest coup, its nationalistic fervor recalling an era when its precursor served as the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.”

The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West. The deal made Rosatom one of the world’s largest uranium producers and brought Mr. Putin closer to his goal of controlling much of the global uranium supply chain.

But the untold story behind that story is one that involves not just the Russian president, but also a former American president and a woman who would like to be the next one.

The Times went on to note that Russian-held mines in mines in Kazakhstan that are among the most lucrative in the world,” but “the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States.”

Moreover:

Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.

Promises were made between Rosatom and the Obama administration (yes, Obama is also culpable) so that concerns regarding the sale to the Russians would be addressed. The Times noted that “those promises have been repeatedly broken,” according to records.

When the Times story broke, Hillary Clinton was gearing up to be president. She assured Americans time and time again that a) she had no role in approving the sale (a lie), and b) sale of Uranium One to Russia was not a national security issue.

That too, as we now know, was a huge lie.

As reported by Liberty Headlines:

A new Department of Commerce investigation into whether imported uranium poses a national security risk serves as a reminder that Bill and Hillary Clinton played a role in reducing the availability of U.S.-owned uranium stores.

Domestic production of uranium is at or near an all-time low, at 2.44 million pounds, compared to a high of 43.7 million pounds in 1980.

And CNBC reports that “Only 7 percent of the uranium delivered to U.S. nuclear power plants last year was produced in the United States.

For military uses and domestic consumption combined, reported Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, “our production of uranium necessary for military and electric power has dropped from 49% of our consumption to 5%.”

Safe and effective supplies of uranium obviously are of key importance, both for U.S. nuclear deterrence forces and for domestic energy supply.

And just where is the vast majority of our uranium now coming from?

You guessed it: Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

“Russia and Kazakhstan together provided 38 percent of uranium used by American reactors in 2016,” Liberty Headlines noted further.

U.S. nuclear power plants produce about 20 percent of our annual total; many are losing money, however — to the tune of $3 billion last year. The Trump administration is studying how to remedy the issue but obviously, the fact that Hillary and Obama did a dirty deal to ensure we’d be reliant on a potential enemy is one of the most traitorous acts since Gen. Benedict Arnold sold out to the British.

Will anyone ever be held accountable from that administration for anything?

Perhaps.

In December, AG Jeff Sessions ordered a fresh probe into the deal, which was fraught with corruption.

In March FBI agents went to Little Rock, Ark., to interview a key witness in the scandal, which the witness, William Campbell, confirmed a few days later.

Time will tell. Meanwhile, the fact that POTUS Donald Trump remains under investigation for “Russian collusion” when the Clintons and Obama are so obviously guilty of it is a sick reminder of how messed up things are in Washington, D.C.

  1. Apparently, the Clintons were, perhaps are, flush with cash. Perhaps even more dramatic, Hillary Clinton’s campaign funds were what kept the Democratic National Committee running, otherwise I think it was running on debt. No question Hillary Clinton was a prodigious money raiser during the campaign and beyond that, seemed to have a lot of money coming into the Clinton Foundation which was from people who were involved in some way with the Uranium One deal. James Comey also seems to have some relationship to the Clinton Foundation, in that he was a board member for Lockheed, which was a big Clinton Foundation contributor, apparently he received six million dollars in one year from Lockheed and that was the same year that Lockheed made big contributions to the Clinton Foundation and also a board member, a director and a financial system vulnerabilities committee member of the London Bank, HSBC, which the bank projected one billion dollars in financing through the Clinton Foundation to retrofit 1500 to two thousand housing units to conserve energy.
Also James Comey’s brother, Peter Comey is Senior Director for the Americas of DLA Piper, DLA Piper being number five on the all time career top contributor list to Hillary Clinton and in addition, DLA Piper has performed and independent audit of the Clinton Foundation, so there seems to possibly be conflict of interest with reference to James Comey and Clinton Foundation. This while he was FBI director and investigating Hillary Clinton for wrong doing in the business with the secret email server and thirty thousand lost emails, which apparently were accessed by a foreign entity which may likely have been China. This information, the China connection coming from behind doors congressional testimoney by Lisa Page, althogh that was information on the internet and evidently hasn’t been made public, and I’m suspecting that information will never be made public.

This appears to be political corruption with a cash payoff

  2. It seems to me that it’d be easy enough for Congress to declare the sale of the uranium to be null and void based on the fact that Hillary Clinton failed to receive authority to approve such a transaction!

Have something to say?
