Giuliani SCORCHES former POTUS lawyer Michael Cohen, CNN, over leak of conversation: ‘Outrageous’ it was cut off at KEY moment

(National SentinelExculpatory: Once again CNN allowed itself to be used as the media equivalent of a prostitute in the network’s relentless and disgraceful pursuit of a duly-elected president.

On Tuesday the network published the audio of a secretly-recorded conversation between Michael Cohen and then-GOP nominee Donald Trump.

Cohen, who’s trying to save himself after special counsel Robert Mueller raided his offices earlier this year as part of his BS “Russian collusion” probe, has now completely flipped and is desperately trying to save his own bacon. So he’s grasping at any straw hack lawyer Lanny Davis, a longtime Clinton associate, tosses him.

What is this about? This is about honesty versus false disparagement of Michael Cohen. Why is Giuliani out falsely disparaging Michael Cohen — because they fear him,” Davis said on “Cuomo Prime Time.”

“What do they fear, Chris? Why am I representing him? They fear that he has the truth about Donald Trump. He will someday speak the truth about Donald Trump. The truth is that when Donald Trump said ‘cash,’ which Rudy Giuliani knows that only drug dealers and mobsters talk about cash, it was, you heard Michael Cohen … say what? ‘No, no, no, no.'”

Presidential lawyer Rudy Giuliani went on Fox News Tuesday evening to refute pretty much everything that Davis asserted on CNN.

As Fox News reported:

Rudy Giuliani, the personal attorney for President Trump, told Fox News on Tuesday that it is ‘outrageous’ that an audio conversation between Trump and his former lawyer Michael Cohen was leaked to the media and questioned why the recording ended at a key part in the conversation.

Giuliani told Laura Ingraham, host of “The Ingraham Angle,” that he found out the tape was leaked at 6 p.m. Tuesday. He said Trump’s legal team listened numerous times to the tape and determined that the then-candidate told Cohen, “Don’t pay with cash.”

“Cohen then interrupts,” Giuliani said. “And says, “No, no, no, I got it.’ And then you hear — distinctly … if you’re careful and you slow (the tape) it down — ‘check.’ And then Cohen follows with ‘No, no, no,’ and then quickly cuts off the tape.”

Giuliani admitted that the audio was muffled, but said the rest of the recording — had it not stopped — would have been “exculpatory,” from the point of view from the president.

The former prosecutor said he spent about 4,000 hours listening to legal recordings in his career and he is confident that if the public listens to the tape three times, “it will become clear.”

“There’s no way the President is going to be setting up a corporation and then using cash, unless you’re a complete idiot,” Giuliani said, according to CNN.

That version matches the one given by Alan Futerfas, a lawyer for the Trump Organization, who also refuted that the tape shows Trump was offering a cash payment.

“Whoever is telling Davis that cash in that conversation refers to green currency is lying to him,” Futerfas told CNN.

“There’s no transaction done in green currency. It doesn’t happen. The whole deal never happened. If it was going to happen, it would be a payment to a large company that would obviously be accompanied by an agreement of sale. Those documents would be prepared by lawyers on both sides,” he added.

“The word cash came up in the context of the distinction between financing, which is referenced, and no financing, which means a full payment, a total one-time payment. That’s the context in which the word cash is used,” he said. “Anyone who knows anything about the company or how the President does business knows there is no green cash. Everything is documented. Every penny is documented.”

Constitutional law professor Alan Dershowitz agrees. But he does see a clear rift between Cohen and Trump developing.

“Number one there is no crime. I think everyone now acknowledges this doesn’t provide evidence of a crime. Number two it does show that Cohen and Trump are no longer joined at the hip. And Cohen would no longer take a bullet for the president. He may, in fact, fire a bullet at him,” he told Fox News‘ Laura Ingraham.

This is just the latest sick, desperate attempt by the Deep State Left to unseat our president.

We predict now that this will have no impact on POTUS Trump’s popularity or his cemented ties to his base.

His supporters know exactly what’s going on here.

As for Cohen, we hope he enjoys being used by the Deep State, because they’re going to throw him out like trash when they’re through with him.
