(National Sentinel) Fed Up: For more than a year Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has been undermining POTUS Donald Trump after having signed off on bogus FISA court warrants allowing the FBI to spy on Trump campaign figure Carter Page.
Rosenstein not only signed off on the third of three warrants, he knew they were based almost entirely on a fake Russian “dossier” — political research bought and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC.
If that wasn’t bad enough, it was Rosenstein who then appointed special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate the wholly fabricated narrative of Russian collusion and obstruction of justice — further hampering POTUS Trump in his ability to run the country and conduct foreign policy.
And if those things weren’t bad enough, Rosenstein has served as the gatekeeper of information in regards to various House and Senate investigations into “Spygate” and the intentional botching of Hillary Clinton’s gross mishandling of classified emails.
Now, some House Republicans have had enough.
Eleven members introduced five articles of impeachment against Rosenstein Wednesday evening, according to Fox News:
The impeachment articles accuse Rosenstein of intentionally withholding documents and information from Congress, failure to comply with congressional subpoenas and abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
It was not immediately clear whether the House of Representatives would consider the resolution before lawmakers begin the August recess Thursday afternoon. The House will reconvene Sept. 4.
The impeachment resolution has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee, where there is a good chance it will be voted out for the full House to consider.
The resolution effort was led by House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows, R-N.C., and Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio. Both appeared on Fox News‘ Laura Ingraham program Wednesday evening.
“For nine months, we’ve asked for documents, and that’s all we want,” Meadows said. “Not only have subpoenas been ignored, but information has been hidden, efforts have been stonewalled.”
“We’ve caught the Department of Justice hiding information, redacting information that they should not have redacted,” Jordan alleged, noting further that Rosenstein had attempted to intimidate House staffers with subpoenas.
“We’re tired of the Justice Department giving us the finger,” Jordan added. “The American people are sick of it.”
