Gingrich: Dems have swung TOO far to the Left on immigration; predicts GOP will retain Congress

(National SentinelParty of Lunacy: Since Barack Obama became the Democratic standard-bearer, his party has moved steadily to the Left, while at the same time adopting political positions that are not just ‘outside the mainstream’ but completely bonkers.

Who would have ever thought the party of JFK would back the abolition of the nation’s foremost immigration enforcement agency?

Or support socialism and Marxism?

Or support any political philosophy that promotes hate and intolerance, no borders, no corporate profits, and violence?

That’s the modern Democratic Party — the Party of Hate and Lunacy. And that’s why former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says he believes Republicans will retain control of Congress.

Immigration is the big issue, he notes. Most Americans — and it’s consistently been this way, as evidenced by POTUS Donald Trump’s victory — want greater border security, enforcement of all immigration laws, and sane immigration policies like ensuring that people who come to America don’t immediately become burdens to society.

“Look, if the only issue narrowly drawn is the wall, I don’t know that it’s a winner,” Gingrich told Fox News, as reported by The Daily Caller.

“But if the issue is: Does the United States have the right to control immigration? Do we have the right to block murderers, thugs? MS-13 is a gang dedicated to torture, rape, and murder. This is not hyperbole, this is a fact.”

He also noted that most Americans do not support sanctuary cities.

“Sanctuary cities increase the danger of crime. Eighty-four percent of the country, 84 percent agree that sanctuary cities increase the cost of crime,” said Gingrich.

“So, if the president gets in a fight, where the issue is not just the wall but the issue is a Democratic Party committed to open borders and wide open migration with no controls — versus a Republican Party trying to protect you from criminals, I think that’s a dead loser for the Democrats in October,” Gingrich concluded.

Someone should inform GOP leaders of these facts. RINOs Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are preparing the screw the American people and POTUS again by excluding funding for the proposed border wall in the FY 2019 budget.

Trump has indicated he would be willing to allow the government to shut down if he doesn’t get the funding.

1 Comment on Gingrich: Dems have swung TOO far to the Left on immigration; predicts GOP will retain Congress

  1. Trump probably is a bigger threat to the Republicans than the Democrats, since Trump was an outsider when he elbowed his way into the campaign and put the party on a new direction, populist (jobs) rather than big business, the traditional beneficiary of the Republican party.
