FBI finally releases internal records on ‘Russian dossier’ author Christopher Steele, and we STILL don’t know anything: Here’s Why

(National SentinelGarbage In Garbage Out: For nearly two years Americans have been waiting — patiently at first, and then impatiently — to learn exactly how and why the FBI contracted with a former British spy the bureau used as an asset to undermine GOP presidential contender Donald Trump’s campaign through the production of a “dossier” containing salacious allegations and alleging “collusion” with the Russian government.

We’ve been waiting to learn how the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee became involved with the FBI in financing Steele and the production of his dossier through an opposition research firm (Fusion GPS) and law firm (Perkins Coie).

We’d also like to know how Sen. John McCain, RINO-Arizona, fits into this equation since he turned a version of the dossier over to the FBI.

And how fired FBI Director James Comey, fired Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok, Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie Ohr (who worked for Fusion GPS during the time of the dossier’s production) all fit into this scandal as well.

But we’re going to have to wait longer thanks to the ridiculous ongoing stonewalling that continues to take place within a DoJ and FBI that has no leadership since Attorney General Jeff Sessions decided shortly after being appointed that he should take himself completely out of the picture.

As is usually the case, the FBI document-dumped 71 pages of Steele-related materials late Friday afternoon when hardly anyone was looking.

But the problem is nearly every page is completely redactedmaking the ‘disclosure’ nearly worthless.

The Daily Caller notes:

The total records, made public Friday, span 71 pages and contains various documents showing payments to Steele, who is referred to as a “Confidential Human Source,” over an unlisted period of time.

While most of the documents are nearly completely redacted, they do show that in February 2016 the FBI had “admonished” Steele.

“Verbally admonished the [Confidential Human Source] CHS with CHS admonishments, which the CHS fully acknowledged, signed and dated,” the document reads.

But is that any big deal? Maybe. But probably not.

As NBC News reports, “an admonishment is typically given when a person begins a stint as a confidential informant and annually thereafter. It is a briefing on the rules of being an informant to ensure the source complies with guidelines set by the Attorney General, and usually not criticism of the source.”

More from The DC:

The documents also reveal that Steele disclosed to a third party that he was working for the FBI as an informant, as well as the fact that Steele was the source for a news article.

The agency signaled by Nov. 1, 2016, that it would likely end its relationship with Steele and that he should refrain from “obtain[ing] any intelligence whatsoever on behalf of the FBI.”

Three FREE ways you can help us stick around

It’s garbage in, garbage out at the FBI and DoJ these days. Obama and his Democrat-aligned Deep State operatives have completely destroyed the federal system of ‘justice.’

POTUS Trump needs to fire the entire senior leadership and rebuilt it from the ground up. Playing these redaction games is getting old.

Meanwhile, it’s Trump and his associates who continue to be scrutinized by a “special counsel” investigation.
