WOW: Journalists from the Left AND Right call for Manigault-Newman to be LOCKED up over secret recording of her firing

(National SentinelBipartisan: It’s nearly impossible to get journalists on the Left and Right to agree on much of anything these days in the Trump era, but one issue making headlines today has them united: The behavior of fired White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman.

Over the weekend she revealed she had secretly taped White House Chief of Staff John Kelly when he fired her, then released the recording to the media.

What a huge mistake on her part, legally speaking, given that all such conversations are classified

Manigault-Newman released her recording Sunday morning on NBC‘s “Meet the Press” with Chuck Todd — who likely knew what she was doing was illegal but allowed her to do so anyway because…ratings!

“We’re going to talk to you about leaving the White House,” Kelly says in the secret recording. “It has come to my attention over the last few months that there’s been some pretty, in my opinion, significant integrity issues…” he continued.

Here’s the audio:

This is not simply a breach of protocol, it is a huge security breach. By their very nature, all conversations within the confines of the White House between staff and especially the president (whom the Chief of Staff represents) are highly classified.

Even far-Left CNN correspondent April Ryan, who frequently spars with the administration, was extremely angry with Manigault-Newman for her massive security breach

“Omarosa! I hear you mentioned me on Meet The Press. Don’t reference me or use my name. Keep my name out of your mouth. You have done enough. Your lies and crazy behavior are catching up to you. Can you say National Security breach? Lawyer up!” she tweeted.

Added John Podhoretz of the New York Post: “If Omarosa taped Kelly in the Situation Room, that is presumably a crime. She should be prosecuted, precisely because if she isn’t there will be no deterrent in future.”

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel added: “Secretly recording conversations in the Situation Room isn’t just wildly inappropriate, it’s a threat to our national security. If she broke federal law, she should be prosecuted.”

Ryan noted further that U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings was going to look into the matter.

“Breaking: plans to look into the national security issue of Omarosa taping conversations in places where cell phones are not allowed like the Situation Room and the Oval Office among other places. This is potentially a national security issue!” she wrote.

Without a doubt, Podhoretz made the best argument.

If Manigault-Newman broke the law — and it sure sounds like she did — she must be prosecuted, otherwise, this breach of national security will happen again.

Newman is a sick, demented woman. It’s obvious she’s very angry about being fired. This “book” is her revenge. She is a psychopath and desperately needs medical help.
