(National Sentinel) Liars Lie: During an interview Monday evening with Fox News‘ Martha McCallum, Rep. John Radcliff, R-Texas, a former U.S. attorney, said that he has personally seen the unredacted copies of the Justice Department’s FISA warrant applications allowing the FBI to spy on a Trump campaign aid, but none of them mention DoJ official Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie Ohr, both of whom were involved in the dossier’s author, former British spy Christopher Steele.
That’s a big deal because the FISA applications were premised in large part on the bogus “Russia dossier” that was handled by the Ohr’s at nearly every stage of its production, according to previous reports.
Radcliff said none of the four FISA applications signed by former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, former FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy FBI Director Andy McCabe and current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein mentioned the Ohr’s, and that their names were purposely withheld from the FISA court, a major violation of the law.
According to CNS News:
Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas) told Fox News Monday night that he’s seen the unredacted FISA applications used to spy on a Trump campaign volunteer, and none of those four applications mention Bruce or Nellie Ohr’s involvement with dossier author Christopher Steele.
Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS, the firm that hired former British spy Christopher Steele to dig up dirt on Donald Trump. The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democrat National Committee paid for the opposition research.
Steele worked as an FBI informant until he was fired for leaking to the press. But Steele continued to pass information to Bruce Ohr, then a high-ranking Justice Department employee; and Bruce Ohr continued to pass Steele’s information to the FBI.
Bruce Ohr is testifying today on Capitol Hill during a closed session of the House Government Oversight Committee.
“We know very clearly, and it’s not in dispute, that Bruce Ohr had more than 60 contacts with Christopher Steele, and his wife was retained and paid to create the dossier with Christopher Steele,” Radcliffe said.
“Those are the definitions of material facts, and why it comes into play, Martha is, was this just Bruce Ohr and his wife? Or who at the Department of Justice and who at the FBI was aware of this information? When did they become aware of it, because it goes to those four separate FISA applications and the information that was sworn to before those judges.”
He noted that the four former FBI and Justice Department officials swore “that they were giving full and complete information about the dossier. And I can tell you, having seen the unredacted FISA applications, that Bruce Ohr and his involvement and Nellie Ohr and her involvement was never disclosed in any of the four applications,” Radcliffe said.
There’s this: Radcliffe also said that Rosenstein “told members of Congress under oath that he had no knowledge that Bruce Ohr was involved in the Russia investigation and he told Members of Congress that he wasn’t aware that Bruce Ohr had permission to be working on the Russia investigation.”
Where is Jeff Sessions? And where are the indictments? They’re going to have to come from career prosecutors because we know Sessions won’t bring them and neither will special counsel Robert Mueller, the latter of whom is only focused on ending POTUS Trump’s presidency.
