POTUS Trump blasts ‘illegal’ social media BIAS and censorship, vows actions

(National SentinelPayback: If POTUS Donald Trump has one quality it is his instinct for going after those who are doing a disservice to the American people and making things right.

With that in mind, he’s turned his sights on the social media behemoths who have been systematically banning and censoring conservative voices ahead of the 2018 midterms.

Steadily over months Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, and others have been “shadow-banning” or outright banning pro-Trump independent and conservative media, lawmakers, and pundits in a bid to mute their voices. Left-wing and liberal media, meanwhile, have gone untouched and are even being promoted over rival voices, PJ Media reports.

But on Monday, POTUS Trump took Twitter, ironically (because the platform can’t mute the most powerful voice on the planet) unusually early to call out the social media giants and warn them what’s coming if they don’t reverse their behavior.

“Google search results for ‘Trump News’ shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake New Media,” he wrote.

“In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD,” he continued. “Fake CNN is prominent. Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out.”

Then this bomb: POTUS asked if the search results were “Illegal”, before noting: “96% of… results on ‘Trump News’ are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous.”

“Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good,” he added. “They are controlling what we can & cannot see. This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!”

Boom.

The PJ Media report noted, “96 Percent of Google Search Results for ‘Trump’ News Are from Liberal Media Outlets.”

Mediate noted further:

The report tested out results from searching “Trump” in the news section of Google, analyzing the results using Sharyl Attkisson‘s “media bias chart.” The report looked at the first 100 items that appeared, and found that supposedly “left-leaning sites” made up “96 percent of the total results.” CNN — one of the highest trafficked news websites in the world — appeared the most frequently by a “large margin”, the report said, while conservative websites like National Review or Breitbart did not.

We always knew it would take POTUS Trump getting involved to have this issue addressed and resolved.

It’s not a matter of ‘a private company deciding how it wants to operate.’ Scores of conservative websites and publications (including this one) have spend money promoting and marketing themselves on these platforms, only to be down-rated, shadow banned, or censored outright.

That’s not an operating choice, that’s fraud. And it’s illegal.

This should have been fixed a year ago, well before the midterms. Same goes for election fraud issues. Let’s hope being this late isn’t politically fatal for POTUS.
