What’s missing from Bob Woodward’s new hit-job book on POTUS? #MAGA

(National SentinelHit Job: We must be getting closer to the midterm elections because another “veteran Washington reporter” has just released another “tell-all” book on what ‘life is like inside the Trump White House.’

But as is always the case with such books, missing from the pages are the tremendous successes our unconventional president has achieved for our country, and in a very short period of time.

First, the book. Bob Woodward of “Watergate” fame’s new tome, “Fear: Trump in the White House,” is chock full of alleged juicy details about the inner workings of POTUS Trump and his administration during key moments in his presidency.

As The Washington Post (Woodward’s Watergate stomping grounds) reported:

John Dowd was convinced that President Trump would commit perjury if he talked to special counsel Robert S. Mueller III. So, on Jan. 27, the president’s then-personal attorney staged a practice session to try to make his point.

In the White House residence, Dowd peppered Trump with questions about the Russia investigation, provoking stumbles, contradictions and lies until the president eventually lost his cool.

“This thing’s a goddamn hoax,” Trump erupted at the start of a 30-minute rant that finished with him saying, “I don’t really want to testify.”

And (Note: The Post published the language used, in full):

After Syrian President Bashar al-Assad launched a chemical attack on civilians in April 2017, Trump called Mattis and said he wanted to assassinate the dictator. “Let’s fucking kill him! Let’s go in. Let’s kill the fucking lot of them,” Trump said, according to Woodward.

Mattis told the president that he would get right on it. But after hanging up the phone, he told a senior aide: “We’re not going to do any of that. We’re going to be much more measured.” The national security team developed options for the more conventional airstrike that Trump ultimately ordered.

And:

In the fall of 2017, as Trump intensified a war of words with Kim Jong Un, nicknaming North Korea’s dictator “Little Rocket Man” in a speech at the United Nations, aides worried the president might be provoking Kim. But, Woodward writes, Trump told Porter that he saw the situation as a contest of wills: “This is all about leader versus leader. Man versus man. Me versus Kim.”

The book also details Trump’s impatience with the war in Afghanistan, which had become the United States’ longest conflict. At a July 2017 National Security Council meeting, Trump dressed down his generals and other advisers for 25 minutes, complaining that the United States was losing, according to Woodward.

“The soldiers on the ground could run things much better than you,” Trump told them. “They could do a much better job. I don’t know what the hell we’re doing.” He went on to ask: “How many more deaths? How many more lost limbs? How much longer are we going to be there?”

Mind you, the White House is pushing back on much of this, from the president on down. But the reality is, the book isn’t meant to be anything other than red meat to the #NeverTrump faction of the Republican Party and to Democrats who hate his man more than they hate some of history’s most vile figures.

What the book purposefully ignores are the number of successes the president had notched on his way to Making America Great Again:

  • Best economy in decades. It surged to 4.1 percent in the second quarter of this year, up from the Obama administration’s anemic average of 1.9 percent.

“What we’re seeing in the Trump economy is wages going up for the first time in a long time. We’re seeing unemployment go down to levels we haven’t seen since the 1990s. This is a strong economy. This president’s economic policies are succeeding, and trade is a big part of that,” said Peter Navarro, the top trade adviser to the president.

  • More jobs than workers. As of June, there were about 6.8 million jobs available in the United States but just 6.4 million people to fill them (hence the rising wages!).
  • Trade deals are getting better. The president’s trade team is on a tear, reaching new, fairer NAFTA agreements with Mexico and Canada while chipping away at the massive trade imbalance with China.
  • We’re getting stronger under Trump. The president has managed to ‘persuade’ NATO countries to get off the sidelines and start living up to their spending pledges to rebuild and strengthen their militaries as Russia advances throughout Europe. He’s managed to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and he’s already had face-to-face discussions with Vladimir Putin.

When the president has had to be tough, he’s ordered military action against Syria and in Afghanistan. And why shouldn’t the president chide military leaders after we’ve spend a trillion dollars and 17 years in Afghanistan?

Didn’t Americans elect POTUS Trump to shake things up and ‘drain the swamp?

And let’s never forget he’s daily dealing with the BS Mueller investigation.

POTUS is an unusual chief executive. We’ve no doubt he’s tough, adversarial, and at times hard to work for — as are all presidents (and, in Bill Clinton’s case, the first lady). But to continually ignore the great strides we’re making under Donald Trump is to engage in journalistic malpractice.

  1. This “book” is just more fake fodder from the Left Dems. The more the Left attacks Trump, the stronger he becomes and we, who support Trump, will defend him in every way possible. Trump has done great things for this country. We love him. Nothing will change our minds … nothing. The Left is trying to take this country away from us. They think we are stupid and powerless but we will remain united for Trump and our country.

  2. our country’s sovereignty is at stake
the demons of the rat party want one world order, which will end America as we know it

two countries stand in the way of one world order
    that is America and russia

if the illuminati, one world order people, can start a war between russia and the USA and we destroy each other or weaken each other so that the enemy can overtake us

we must pray that our GOD will have mercy on our country and our world
satan worshiping is now out in the open now
times are coming to a point
we must pray and pray and pray

    imho
