Grassley lashes out at Feinstein after she REFUSES to sit in on call with Kavanaugh accuser

(National SentinelHoax: If you still weren’t convinced that the allegations of sexual assault against Judge Brett Kavanaugh made by a far-Left activist professor are all part of an elaborate scheme by the Democrats to derail his nomination, this ought to do it.

Following allegations by Christine Blasey Ford that Kavanaugh tried to ‘rape’ her decades ago while in high school, Democrats have been screaming that his nomination process should cease immediately until they ‘hear more’ from her.

But the Democratic senator who unleashed this scam on the country — Dianne Feinstein — has refused to sit in on a conversation between Ford and the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, drawing a serious rebuke from him.

“Grassley: Anyone who comes forward as Dr. Ford has deserves to be heard, so I will continue working on a way to hear her out in an appropriate, precedented and respectful manner,” tweeted Fox News correspondent Chad Pergram.

“Grassley: The standard procedure for updates to any nominee’s background investigation file is to conduct separate follow-up calls..that would entail phone calls with..Kavanaugh &..Ford..I asked..Feinstein’s office..to join me in scheduling these follow-ups..they have refused,” he continued.

“Grassley: Republicans have only known this person’s identity from news reports for less than 24 hours and known about her allegations for less than a week. Senator Feinstein, on the other hand, has had this information for many weeks and deprived her colleagues of the information,” he noted further.

“Grassley: Dr. Ford’s attorney could have approached my office, while keeping her client confidential and anonymous, so that these allegations could be thoroughly investigated. Nevertheless, we are working diligently to get to the bottom of these claims,” Pergram wrote.

Meanwhile, Kavanaugh is fighting fire with…truth. He came out standing tall and swinging Monday morning with a statement of his own.

“This is a completely false allegation,” Kavanaugh said in a statement, according to ABC News. “I have never done anything like what the accuser describes — to her or to anyone.

“Because this never happened, I had no idea who was making this accusation until she identified herself yesterday. I am willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee in any way the Committee deems appropriate to refute this false allegation, from 36 years ago, and defend my integrity,” Kavanaugh’s statement said.

The objective here was never to have a fair and open confirmation hearing for Kavanaugh. The powerless Democrats, angry at being rejected by the country, have nothing to offer but obstructionism and venom, period.

Grassley tried. Feinstein doesn’t want to cooperate. He should schedule a vote and get this imminently qualified jurist on the high court.

  1. First, if he had raped her, which she is not claiming, the statute of limitations is surly long past, regardless of when she chose to tell her therapist. 2012 is suspicious, July 2018 is suspicious, another nothing burger even if he brutally raped her and cut her fingers off, the statue of limitations is past by now. He should not be forced to defend against an all but obvious lie.

  2. She never even told her therapist, who the alleged attacker was..Only now is she putting a name on him.

  3. Grassley is a coward. He is doing exactly what the dems want in response to this dirty trick, thus setting more precedent.

Grassley also complained about information he “demanded” from the DOJ, multiple times, and never got any of it, nor did anything about it.

I did some things when I was six years old that would undoubtedly interest Diane Feinstein if she was determined to derail my appointment to any local Board of Dog Catching.
    Or the Supreme Court.
