GAH! POTUS Trump agrees to DELAY declassification of FISA court, Russia probe docs

(National SentinelDeep State: In a disappointing development for his legions of supporters, POTUS Donald Trump announced early Friday via Twitter he was going to delay the declassification of documents related to the FBI’s applications to the FISA court for warrants to spy on one of his former campaign advisers, Carter Page.

“I met with the DOJ concerning the declassification of various UNREDACTED documents. They agreed to release them but stated that so doing may have a perceived negative impact on the Russia probe. Also, key Allies’ called to ask not to release,” he wrote.

“Therefore, the Inspector General has been asked to review these documents on an expedited basis. I believe he will move quickly on this (and hopefully other things which he is looking at). In the end I can always declassify if it proves necessary. Speed is very important to me – and everyone!” he added.

The president’s decision comes after days of threats of defiance from Deep State operatives and others in the FBI and Justice Department who were either planning to redact much of the information against POTUS’ order, or refuse to release anything at all.

We reported Wednesday, as well, that four panicked Democrats fired off a letter to DoJ, the FBI, and Office of National Intelligence instructing its leaders to ignore the president while demanding they be briefed before any declassification took place.

We also reported that elements within DoJ and the FBI were colluding to prevent the release of the information POTUS Trump initially ordered declassified.

So, what gives? What’s this business of “allies” contacting the White House to halt the declassification? What do our “allies” have to fear from the release of information related to an internal matter involving political corruption?

Does Spygate go much farther and deeper, internationally speaking, than we know?

Granted, there are connections to a former British spy and an Australian diplomat — but who else?

Some on social media are critical of the president for making this decision. We get it. But we’re not piling on.

Still, these documents need to be in the public domain. Americans are sick and tired of government officials operating in the shadows, behind the scenes, and away from the bright light of scrutiny. This is especially true when it comes to the diabolical Deep State manipulation of the intelligence community and federal law enforcement to thwart and then undermine presidential nominee and duly-elected president.

POTUS Trump was elected, in part, to “drain the swamp.” We remain hopeful that he will.
