Florida recount: Republicans are NOT exaggerating that it’s an ‘opportunity for fraud’

(National SentinelElection Theft: Republicans are warning that the Florida recount mess, which is reaching a crisis point, is the perfect storm of opportunity for Democrats to steal a couple of GOP victories and that sounding the alarm over what’s going on it is not an exaggeration.

Appearing on Fox News‘ “The Ingraham Angle” Monday night, constitutional scholar and lawyer John Eastman said that when election supervisors in the Sunshine State don’t clean up their voter registration rolls or comply with state laws, that “creates an opportunity for fraud” while raising “serious red flags.”

Two Florida counties — Broward and Palm Beach — have thus far failed to comply with state laws requiring ballots to be turned in to the secretary of state’s office within a 40-hour window following the closing of polls.

That hasn’t happened yet and in fact, supervisors in those counties have mysteriously ‘found’ ballots well after polls closed a week ago during the midterm elections.

At the end of the evening last Tuesday, Republican Gov. Rick Scott was well ahead of incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson, while former GOP Rep. Ron DeSantis was ahead of Democratic challenger and Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum.

They are both still ahead though by much slimmer margins. And every day that passes, Democrats are closer to robbing the people of Florida of their choices.

One of the biggest serial perpetrators of election fraud is Broward supervisor Brenda Snipes, who has been in legal hot water in the past over the destruction of ballots during the 2016 election. She’s right in the thick of things this time around as well.

“I’m one of the lawyers suing Brenda Snipes right now,” Eastman told host Laura Ingraham.

“What we’ve found is they don’t clean their voter rolls for illegal citizens. They don’t clean them for felons. They don’t clean them for people who die out of state. They do check for people who die in state. But guess what? A lot of Floridians had two residences,” he added.

“And you know, it’s just unconscionable that they’re not cleaning those rolls,” Eastman also said. “The reason that’s so significant is that it creates an opportunity for fraud. And when they’ve uncovered 80,000 ballots after election night … because they wanted to narrow the race, you know, you just gotta raise some real serious red flags.”

Lifezette noted further:

Lawyer Miguel De Grandy, who served in Florida’s House of Representatives and was the ranking member of the Judiciary Committee there, told Ingraham that officials like Snipes “sow doubts in the electorate as to the integrity of the election.” That occurs when they “do things behind closed doors,” don’t “report periodically as you’re supposed to,” and “deny access to people to witness an election process,” as the law requires.

“We know that 22 illegal votes were mixed with votes that were valid votes … We know that at least one non-citizen voted,” De Grandy said. “When those irregularities occur when there is no public viewing of the process, it does create questions.”

Eastman added, “The reason we keep adding new counts is because they’re accepting absentee ballots that come in after the legal deadline. That’s a violation of Florida law.”

De Grandy said he believes that the election night results will stand, but what about next time? Will Floridians forever have to endure Democratic attempts to thwart the will of the people?

Florida state Sen. Lizbeth Benacquisto (R), who is the rules chair of the Florida Senate, told Ingraham that DeSantis, as governor, “will work with the legislature to make sure that we undertake all necessary and appropriate updates and changes to the electoral laws and make sure that we have a system in place that instills confidence in the residents of the state of Florida.”

Naturally, Left-wing groups will sue the state to stop any major changes to election law — such as requiring voter ID and election supervisors regularly scrubbing voter registration rolls.

But this is why it is crucial that Republicans keep the Senate: So they can confirm POTUS Donald Trump’s nominees to the federal bench. Only constitutionalists committed to the rule of law and our founding document can protect our republic from Democratic attempts to destroy it.
