If Dems say acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker is biased, why didn’t they feel that way about Peter Strzok and Lisa Page?

(National SentinelBlatant Hypocrisy: Democrats are waging a full-court press against POTUS Donald Trump’s choice to replace former Attorney General Jeff Sessions last with his chief of staff, Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker.

In a letter to the Justice Department’s top ethics official, Assistant Attorney General Lee Lofthus, top Democrats are insisting that Whitaker be forced to recuse himself from oversight of special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing “Russian collusion” investigation because the acting AG has been openly critical of it.

The lawmakers, including Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein and House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jerrold Nadler, wrote that Whitaker’s past statements “indicate a clear bias against the investigation,” and that his relationship with a grand jury witness in the probe raises “additional concerns about his ability to supervise the investigation independently and impartially,” Bloomberg reported.

“The facts for recusal are very strong here,” said Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California who’s expected to lead the House Intelligence Committee. “This is someone who’s made repeated and prejudicial comments against the investigation,” Schiff said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Really?

Where were these hypocrite Democrats when story after story documented the very obvious disdain and bias for POTUS Trump by fired FBI official Peter Strzok and his paramour, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page?

Not a single one of them ever criticized the fact that those two were directly involved in Spygate, the operation launched by the Obama administration to derail POTUS Trump and his administration after he defeated the most corrupt presidential nominee in the history of the republic, Hillary Clinton.

For them to claim now that Whitaker’s very legitimate criticism of Mueller’s appointment — which was not done according to law and DOJ standards — is a ‘conflict of interest’ but the involvement of Strzok and Page in Spygate was legitimate is a sick joke.

Former CIA analyst and current talk radio host Buck Sexton lashed out at Democrats for their blatant hypocrisy during a recent appearance on Fox News‘ “Kennedy” show (jump to 2:20):

Every Executive Branch official serves at the pleasure of the president.

He has been telegraphing for months he was not happy with Sessions’ recusal over the Russia probe and everything to do with Mueller’s investigation.

He has now replaced Jeff Sessions. There is nothing wrong or unethical about what he did.

To see Democrats wail about it is more evidence they fear this president is figuring out the game in DC and is now playing it better than them.
