Survey: Record number of Americans support POTUS Trump’s handling of economy

(National Sentinel) Pro-Growth: So much winning. That’s what POTUS Donald Trump promised us when he ran for the White House in 2016. And by any and all measures, he’s delivering.

That is especially true when it comes to the U.S. economy, and Americans are taking notice. A record number of Americans, in fact.

A new Gallup poll released on Monday found that 53 percent of Americans say they approve of the way the president is handling the economy. That’s up 3 percent from an August survey and is the highest for POTUS during his two-year tenure.

In addition, the president’s economic polling numbers are higher than his recent predecessors at the same time in their terms.

“Trump’s last two ratings on handling the economy — 53% now and 50% in August — are well above the average of 45% on this economic approval measure across presidents extending from Ronald Reagan through Barack Obama,” Gallup reported.

In September, he tweeted, “Financial and jobs numbers are fantastic. There are plenty of new, high paying jobs available in our great and very vibrant economy. If you are not happy where you are, start looking – but also remember, our economy is only getting better.”

On his handling of immigration, POTUS Trump’s approval rating was considerably lower — 40 percent — according to the survey.

But that could be due to a number of factors that are out of his control such as having federal courts rule against his executive actions, as happened again on Monday.

  1. I expected to see the deficit hit $20 Trillion before inauguration day. It didn’t, I was hopeful. Then the omnibus, and the future unfolded before our eyes. No deficit discipline. Then the tax but no spending cuts. 11/20/18 10:22 am, the National Debt Clock stands at $21,773,268,341,278.00. US FEDERAL SPENDING is +132% at $4,135,786,149,758.00 and the budget deficit is $834,536,147,660.00. Yea, I’m just thrilled with the economy.

  2. Took another poll on wall street ….? Come on out to Painsville America and see what we think of your pathetic ‘economy’.
