Over the weekend the “mainstream media” (MSM) which, in the age of POTUS Trump, has so obviously become little more than a propaganda organ for the Democratic Left, slipped back into its “journo-terrorism” role by promoting harm to a group of Catholic youngsters whose only ‘crime’ was supporting the president.
You may have heard that a group of young boys from a Catholic school in Kentucky visited the Lincoln Memorial on Friday after attending the March For Life. While at the memorial a Native American activist, Nathan Phillips, approached the group of boys with other Native Americans in tow and began harassing them.
Phillips, who is reportedly a Vietnam vet, got up in the face of one young boy wearing a MAGA hate and began verbally berating him while beating a drum inches from the boy’s face.
It should be noted at this point that Phillips — ever the ‘activist’ — has a history of pulling stunts just like this. As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Phillips, in 2015, targeted a group of mostly white frat boys, then ran to reporters to claim that hewas the one who was harassed by them, a “racist” incident that, of course, was lapped up by the Democratic lapdog media.
As local media reported at the time:
A Ypsilanti man says he was trying to teach a few students dressed in American Indian theme party about respecting Native Americans.
Not long afterward, Nathan Phillips said that an interaction with party-goers and students turned ugly.
Nathan Phillips says he was out for a noon walk on a Saturday in mid-April.
He walked by a home where he saw Eastern Michigan University students dressed as Native Americans.
“They had little feathers on, I was just going to walk by,” Phillips said. “A group of them said ‘Come on over, come here.’”
He went on to claim that the students harassed him and called him names, but there is little evidence other than his word that anything untoward or “racist” occurred. And his word means nothing because he’s an activist and stunts like those are what he does.
Case in point: The group of Catholic students was approached by Phillips, as seen in the video below. They did not confront him, as most mainstream media outlets are reporting:
Here is a video clearly showing that Nathan Phillips approached the students. On the basis of the evidence we now have, I believe that people who issued categorical and one-sided condemnations of the students should retract and apologize. pic.twitter.com/GxmXcMuQgC

“Here is a video clearly showing that Nathan Phillips approached the students. On the basis of the evidence we now have, I believe that people who issued categorical and one-sided condemnations of the students should retract and apologize,” wrote Matthew Schmitz, senior editor of the Catholic Herald, on Twitter as he retweeted the video.
The Phillips confrontation came after the Catholic students were verbally harassed by a group of black men who even singled out a black student because of his association with white friends.
That same group of MAGA kids get harassed by group of Black Men at March for Lives and noone says anything.
They even harass the one black kid for being friends with white people…

And yet, the MSM singled out the mostly white Catholic students from Kentucky as being the aggressors and the antagonists, John Hawkins wrote at the Western Journal.
For instance, Newsweek’s headline was, “MAGA HAT WEARING PUPILS FROM COVINGTON CATHOLIC SCHOOL WHO TAUNTED NATIVE AMERICAN ELDER COULD FACE EXPULSION.”
Via Snopes, The Associated Press wrote, “Students in ‘MAGA’ Hats Mock Native American After Rally.”
The Root reported,“The Next Generation of MAGA Hat-Wearing Bigots Besiege Indigenous Peoples March.”
CNN piled on with, “Teens in Make America Great Again hats mocked a Native American elder at the Lincoln Memorial.”
None of these reports could be further from the truth, as you’ve seen. In fact, the exact opposite happened.
And yet, fresh off the fake news debacle from Buzzfeed, whose truth-compromised reporters falsely claimed that “two anonymous federal sources” said POTUS Trump encouraged his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about a Trump Tower deal in Moscow, these MSM outlets ran with another phony narrative.
Because it appeared to harm POTUS Trump: White boys with MAGA hats harassing a poor, helpless, Native American Vietnam vet. That’s Alt-Left gold.
Worse, officials at the school where these boys attend, Covington Catholic High, were equally quick to distrust them — a knock on the institution’s ability to teach its values — and jump on the journo-terrorist bandwagon. In a statementcondemning their ‘actions,’ the school said:
We condemn the actions of the Covington Catholic High School students towards Nathan Phillips specifically, and Native Americans in general, Jan. 18, after the March for Life, in Washington, D.C. We extend our deepest apologies to Mr. Phillips. This behavior is opposed to the Church’s teachings on the dignity and respect of the human person. The matter is being investigated and we will take appropriate action, up to and including expulsion.
Officials there also apologized to the March For Life organizers because…the MSM shamed them — even after one of their students, the boy whose face was being drummed in, was doxxed by the same journo-terrorists who lied about what happened.
It took some time but eventually, the truth of what happened began to emerge. As The Blaze reports, witnesses began speaking up and speaking out against the MSM characterizations of what went down, one of whom is also a Native American.
And Robert Barnes, an attorney, stepped up and said he would represent the kids for free after being doxxed and lied about by the MSM.

Once again, the MSM and journo-terrorists who comprise it have proven POTUS Trump’s claims they are, indeed, enemies of the people. — J. D. Heyes
