Clown show: Elizabeth ‘Fauxcohontas’ Warren touts ‘climate change,’ ‘student loan debt’ as ‘national emergencies’ on late-night TV

By Jon Dougherty

Sen. Elizabeth “Fauxcohontas” Warren (D-Mass.) is proving by the day that she’s got no presidential mettle and could never be trusted to be the leader of the free world, let alone custodian of the world’s biggest economy.

That’s because her proposals so far have been political in nature, nonsensical, impractical, and, dare we say, stupid.

In mocking POTUS Donald Trump’s very real national emergency declaration last week aimed at gaining control over our lawless, porous border, through which cartels traffic humans and deadly drugs, Warren said she’d declare an emergency over climate change, gun violence, and student loan debt if she were elected president, the Washington Examiner reported.

“Oh, let’s do a list,” Warren said during an appearance this week on the “Late Late Show” when asked what she would see as a national emergency.

“Climate change, gun violence, student loan debt, right off the top. That’s what we ought to be working on,” she said.

When pressed further about the number of Democrats — a dozen so far — who have lined up to challenge POTUS Trump in 2020, Warren resorted to the pat, safe, political response of ‘more is better’ (when you just know she’d rather not have to face off against a growing number of candidates).

“I actually think this shows us that the Democrats have a lot of ideas, and a lot of energy and a lot of people want to see change,” she said. “So I think it’s a very exciting moment for the Democratic Party.”

That would be believable if all the Democrats entering the race weren’t pushing the same policies: Gun control, more abortion-on-demand, socialism, and economic stagnation.

Oh, and declaring ‘national emergencies’ for truly political purposes.

The fact is POTUS Trump’s declaration is a recognition of the same “crisis” Democrats and their propagandists in the “mainstream” media (MSM) recognized when Barack Obama was in the White House and making the same claim.

“We now have an actual humanitarian crisis on the border that only underscores the need to drop the politics and fix our immigration system once and for all,” then-President Barack Obama said in the Rose Garden in 2014. “In recent weeks we’ve seen a surge of unaccompanied children arrive at the border, brought here and to other countries by smugglers and traffickers.”

Mind you, that ‘crisis’ was the result of Obama’s open-borders, come-one-come-all immigration policies, but of course, Democrats aren’t honest about that, either.

Truth is, Obama’s 2014 declaration is no different than what POTUS Trump said last month ahead of his declaration.

“Last month, 20,000 migrant children were illegally brought into the United States — a dramatic increase,” the president noted. “These children are used as human pawns by vicious coyotes and ruthless gangs.”

And of course, serious analysts see danger ahead regarding Mexico and the inability to come to grips with, let alone control, the escalating violence within the country that threatens to turn the narco-state into a failed state.

As for Warren’s ‘national emergency list,’ there is no such ‘climate change’ crisis; the student debt load is $1.5 trillion (where’s she going to get the money for that?); and the only places in America where “gun violence” is epidemic are in Democrat-run cities like Chicago — and of course, there’s that pesky Second Amendment to have to deal with.

Warren isn’t promoting serious, credible policy proposals because she’s not a serious candidate and does not have the capacity to govern the world’s remaining superpower. But hey, at least she can get a laugh or two on a late-night show.

  1. With all those candidates on the stage, it could collapse….

  2. Whether or not you believe in man made climate change, you could pour all of our GDP into fighting it and you would see no net change. As for student debt, don’t take courses called “Shoes and Fashion: The Root Causes of World War 2”. I think a much greater national emergency is a politician who thinks they still have any credibility after being proven a liar and basing her career on that fact.
