Unrepentant: Lisa Page said if she ‘had it all to do over’ she ‘wouldn’t write s**t down’ to be discovered later

By Jon Dougherty

Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page not only didn’t express remorse for taking part in what can only be described as an attempt by members of our government to sabotage a legitimate presidential candidate and then depose him once he was elected, she said her only regret is that she got herself busted.

During her closed-door testimony last year before a House committee, Page told a joint hearing of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees last July, “And certainly, if I had this to do over again, I wouldn’t write this shit down in my personal – in a work-related text message. But we have not been treated fairly.”

Translation: She still would have taken part in the sabotage and subsequent coup attempt against POTUS Donald Trump, but she just wouldn’t have left any electronic bread crumbs for investigators to find and follow.

How comforting from a former FBI lawyer.

According to a transcript of her testimony released by now-Ranking member Doug Collins (R-Ga.) — because the Justice Department wouldn’t do it — at one point during questioning Page was asked by a Democrat committee staffer if there was anything she would like to say for the record; she Page wept, then said:

I have unquestionably made mistakes, but those mistakes reflect my personal life and having bad judgment. But we have both been committed to the defense of this country for our entire careers, both of us (referring to Strzok).

So we have been caught up in politics, and I understand that that happens, and certainly, if I had this to do over again, I wouldn’t write this shit down in my personal – in a work-related text message. But we have not been treated fairly.

What matters is our actions. Our personal views, regardless of what they are, are irrelevant. What matters is what we do. And over and over and over again, there is absolutely nothing that anyone can point to, to suggest that we ever took any step that was inappropriate. And, in fact, with all fairness, you have my every sentiment before you. It’s not like we held back here.

So if there was something to find, you have every single email we have ever exchanged. You have all of these text messages. There is nothing to find here. We did a good job on both cases, and we did it the way the American people would expect us to do it.

“Both cases” likely refers to the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s criminal trafficking in classified information via her private unsecured email server — which she set up, of course, so she could hide all of her activities from the American people by skirting federal records laws and regulations. Based on that alone, the American people — those who haven’t had their minds and souls corrupted by Left-wing hate — expected her to pay a legal price for what she did. But alas, Hillary didn’t.

In what seems to be the prevailing attitude among our elite these days, what Page told lawmakers is that she and her paramour, fired FBI counterintelligence agency Peter Strzok, are really the victims here, not POTUS Trump, the American people, our political process, and our governing institutions.

They’re being victimized by us rubes out here in flyover country who dare demand accountability for the expensive, intrusive, all-powerful government we fund with our tax dollars. We victimize these elitists with our demands for transparency and accountability, and in doing so we demonstrate we don’t have any idea about ‘how things run.’ Thus, we’re not qualified or ‘allowed’ to question the ruling class or their motivations for doing what they do.

Whatever else Page, Strzok, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, James Clapper, John Brennan, Andrew McCabe and the rest of the Deep State cabal who tried to destroy our president are, they are not patriots, regardless of what they claim.

We should thank Page, et al, for one thing, though: We should thank them for revealing to all Americans just how far we’ve gotten from our founding concept of a “government of, by, and for the people.”

  1. Great article. I’m so glad Donald Trump came along and crashed their playground. The curtain has been pulled back and these rats have been exposed. Always knew DC was corrupt. We never knew it was this bad.

  2. Lisa Page says, ” There is nothing to find here. We did a good job on both cases, and we did it the way the American people would expect us to do it. ”

This is classic Liberal Left rhetoric. They break our laws and they say they did it to protect America. They were plotting a coup! Then they go the media and feign patriotism. They lie to justify their actions. They think we real Americans are stupid enough to believe them.

It’s obvious the Left are not able to speak truth. They live a life of lies and deceit and they have no honor for the Constitution of the United States.

    Their behavior is revolting.

Using curse words in testimony to congress reveals the type of person this formerly high level FBI lawyer is.
