John Brennen’s unhinged anger at POTUS explained: CIA implicated in deep state lies to media claiming ‘Trump-Russia collusion’

By Jon Dougherty

For nearly two years, former CIA Director John Brennan has launched one unhinged tweet after another in POTUS Donald Trump’s director, calling him unstable and insinuating that he’s a Manchurian candidate working on behalf of Mother Russia and a stooge of President Vladimir Putin.

Political observers (us included) have watched in morbid fascination as Brennan increasingly ranted and raged against the president.

Now it all makes sense.

On Monday, The Daily Caller‘s Chuck Ross reported on texts and emails belonging to former FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page inquiring or speculating as to where a series of fantastic claims regarding POTUS Trump, his campaign, and alleged “collusion” with Russian President Vladimir Putin to “steal the election” from Hillary Clinton shortly after the president beat her in November 2016.

In his messages, Strzok makes it clear that “sister agencies” — that is, other agencies within the U.S. intelligence community — were leaking information that neither he nor the FBI had.

“Think our sisters have begun leaking like mad. Scorned and worried and political, they’re kicking in to overdrive,” Strzok wrote Page on December 15, 2016.

The same day, ‘coincidentally,’ NBC News just happened to report that Putin was directly involved in ‘hacking’ the “U.S. election”:

U.S. intelligence officials now believe with “a high level of confidence” that Russian President Vladimir Putin became personally involved in the covert Russian campaign to interfere in the U.S. presidential election, senior U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.

Two senior officials with direct access to the information say new intelligence shows that Putin personally directed how hacked material from Democrats was leaked and otherwise used. The intelligence came from diplomatic sources and spies working for U.S. allies, the officials said.

Some months later, Strzok commented about another ‘bombshell’ story that was published by The Guardian, which claimed that British spies ‘were the first to spot’ Team Trump’s alleged connections to Russia.

The Guardian reported:

Britain’s spy agencies played a crucial role in alerting their counterparts in Washington to contacts between members of Donald Trump’s campaign team and Russian intelligence operatives, the Guardian has been told.

GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious “interactions” between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence said. This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information, they added.

Over the next six months, until summer 2016, a number of western agencies shared further information on contacts between Trump’s inner circle and Russians, sources said.

That report prompted Strzok to note in an email to FBI colleagues on April 13, 2017: “I’m beginning to think the agency got info a lot earlier than we thought and hasn’t shared it completely with us. Might explain all these weird/seemingly incorrect leads all these media folks have. Would also highlight agency as source of some of the leaks.”

The text and the email prompted a letter from two GOP senators Michael K. Atkinson, the inspector general of the intelligence community. Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin want to know whether those leaks came from the CIA or some other agency.

But given the specificity of the claims and the alleged sources of information, it sure looks a lot like Brennan’s fingerprints are all over these (and other) leaks.

“These texts and emails raise a number of serious questions and concerns,” Grassley and Johnson wrote in their letter to Atkinson.

Rush Limbaugh, during his Tuesday program, discussed why these development is noteworthy:

Now, this is significant, because we now know that there was no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. So it looks like — and the source for this is Strzok Smirk and Page, the FBI agents. It looks like the CIA was, in fact, leaking false Trump-Russia stories to the press to undermine Trump. These are leaks that even the FBI agents running their own version of a coup thought were wrong and incorrect, and it was John Brennan running the CIA at the time.

Now, this could also be the CYA. Of course, these texts have been in existence since — let’s see — April 2017, and it’s Grassley and Ron Johnson making the texts public. So it’s not like Strzok Smirk and Page are now trying to release this on their own to make it look like, “Hey, our operation was good; it’s the CIA that screwed everything up.” This is what naturally, I think, occurred. These FBI people are looking at a bunch of stuff in the media that isn’t true, at least as far as they know it.

And they’re concluding that Brennan and the CIA are leaking and putting this stuff in the media that they, then, have to deal with themselves. And they are concluding here, these are “incorrect leads all these media folks have.” That is a solid indication that the FBI’s looking at this as it’s happening, and that the CIA is releasing a bunch of BS that even the FBI thought was BS. And the media was just swallowing it all up, not questioning any of it.

And that’s because it came from Obama’s CIA, which they revere.

It makes sense that Brennan would be railing against a president and an administration that is, finally, getting closer to exposing him and everyone involved in helping to spread the biggest political scandal in the history of our republic.

If ever a prosecutor could make a case for sedition, this one seems ripe.

Limbaugh went there, too:

Folks, there has to be a price paid by the people who have done this. I mean, this is a flat-out lie. Somebody literally made this up, or they got scammed by some agents in Russia who are running a scam on Brennan and they knew what Brennan wanted to hear, so they told him. Who knows how it happened, where it was originally sourced? But this has to be somebody at The Agency telling this to NBC.

Looks like we’re dealing with “crimes too big to prosecute”.
Political hacks “too high up” to indict.
Seditionists “too important” to ever be seen in orange jumpsuits.
Our “First Black President” convicted of involvement in an attempted coup?
    Unthinkable.

  2. The ball is in AG Barr’s court. “Some (good) people (had better start doing) some (right) things” to paraphrase Somali refugee masquerading as a Congresswoman, or our Constitutional Republic as we know it.
