John ‘Bull’ Durham ‘asking all the right questions’ in Russia origin probe; has met ‘several times’ with AG Barr

By Jon Dougherty

The U.S. attorney assigned to investigate the origins of the ‘Russia’ probe as part of the “Spygate” effort to depose POTUS Donald Trump is “asking the right questions” as his investigation into the corruption of the FBI and Justice Department under the Obama administration.

In addition, Fox News reported Saturday, attorney John Durham has met “several times” with Attorney General William Barr as the probe continues apace, making Democrats nervous and, some would say, panicky.

American Liberty: “Established 1776” Order yours now!

In particular, Durham — a corruption specialist — is “digging into the FBI’s use” of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court warrants to spy on a member of the 2016 Trump campaign, warrants that were obtained, it appears, through fraudulent representation of the bogus “Steele Dossier,” a pack of unsubstantiated lies passed off to the court by James Comey’s bureau as legitimate intelligence.

Corey Lewandowski, the former campaign manager for Team Trump who has been keeping tabs on the investigation as it proceeds, told the network he believes that in the end, Barr and Durham will discover conclusively that the Spygate scandal “goes all the way to the top of the previous administration.”

“I think we’re gonna get to the top of this, and what we know is that President Trump has given Attorney General Barr the discretion to declassify any document he wants,” Lewandowsky noted.

“We believe…that the American people have a right to see why this FISA application was filed, the predicate for the FISA application…we know that Jim Comey swore to it under oath, that it was verified…[and] we know that the false, salacious dossier that was paid for by the Clinton campaign” was part of that FISA process, he added.

The former Trump campaign manager also reminded viewers that initially, Comey’s FBI was denied a FISA surveillance warrant earlier in the summer of 2016, which “only happens in about 2 percent of cases because they were being overly political” in their request.

“Now, with U.S. Attorney Durham on the case, I believe we’re going to see a criminal referral coming from [DoJ] Inspector General [Michael] Horowitz,” which “will go right to the top of the FBI, to senior members of the Department of Justice, and may lead right back to the previous White House.”

Fox News noted that former CIA Director Joh Brennan was in charge of a lot of the intelligence community at the time and has been one of POTUS Trump’s most vocal, vociferous critics — odd for a former intel chief. Asked if he believes Barr’s and Durham’s probe will eventually ensnare Brennan, Lewandowski said there’s “no question he has a role” in Spygate.

“Comey, Brennan, and [former Director of National Intelligence James] Clapper — the three horsemen of the intelligence community under the Obama administration — all knew that this dossier was false,” Lewandowski said.

“They all wanted to spy on Donald Trump. They had such visceral hatred for Donald Trump that they abused their positions in the government,” Lewandowski continued. “And they authorized, through the FISA application process and what we now know to be falsehoods, the spying on American citizens on domestic soil — a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment, I’ll add.

“They were so unequivocal that there was ‘collusion’ between the Trump campaign and the Russians that when the [special counsel Robert] Mueller report came out, all they said was, ‘Well, I guess we got some bad information,'” noted Lewandowski.

“This goes much higher than Comey, Brennan, and Clapper,” he said. “And I don’t know if it goes to the deputy national security adviser, Ben Rhodes, if it goes to Susan Rice [Obama’s former national security adviser], or if it goes even higher.

“But clearly, with those three individuals involved, the orders came from the very top to spy on a presidential candidate because they didn’t like his politics,” he added.

The former Trump campaign official brushed aside claims that the Obama administration was merely acting on real intelligence when launching Spygate.

“My sources tell me clearly that there’s an email chain out there that the senior-most members of our government under the previous administration were all on, and one name and one name alone has been redacted from that email,” he said. “I believe it’s Barack Obama who’s clearly read in on what was taking place.

“I believe he was completely read in on what transpired as it related to spying on the Trump campaign and the dossiers and the FISA applications that were asked for by the courts,” Lewandowski said.

Key piece of evidence: Remember that text exchange between FBI counterintelligence No. 2 Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, his lover?

In a Sept. 2, 2016, text to Strzok about preparing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to give to President Obama, Page said it was important to do so because “potus wants to know everything we’re doing.”

Ari Fleischer, former communications chief for President George W. Bush, tweeted in March, “Now that Mueller says there was no collusion, it is time to scrutinize the Obama Administration. They spied on a US campaign, wiretapped Americans, bit on the dossier and unmasked Flynn. What did Barack Obama know and what and when did he authorize it?”

Let’s not forget, Karl Rove advised President Trump to “let it go”, with regard to investigating the swamp. Rove didn’t want this investigation to continue.

It makes me wonder if Rove and GWB also abused that system, just like the Obama admin.

How this is handled will determine what kind of NATION we have going forward! These people committed a COUP – plain and simple – IT FAILED! It failed mostly due to their ARROGANCE and IGNORANCE! Sure they were CORRUPT enough to plan it and execute it, but their “ace in the hole” turned out to be a miserable failure (as she has been ALL her life)! People should be locked away forever and NOT on US SOIL! Send them ALL to GITMO – The POS oblama wanted to close it – NOW he can work on THAT from the INSIDE!… Read more »

Trump Barr and Durham need to discreetly gather up all the info they so the swamp won’t have time to destroy it. Hey, mid night raids worked good for Mueller, they should work good for Durham.

Every communication on a government network goes through servers. At any given moment the servers have myriad communications. Every eight hours a snapshot back up the servers is made to a tape drive. Every eight hours a new tape is placed in and the old one is archived where federal law requires it to be stored for eight years. Any information – an email, a text, a file – is likely to sit on such a server for days, weeks or months. The only way to extirpate it is not just to delete it on the server but to go… Read more »

Just last week they found evidence that obama and Rice asked the UK GCHQ to investigate the Trump campaign headquarters. Evidently obama had requested the original spying and Rice was asking for an extension.

When this mess gets cleaned up, it will be time to disband the secret courts in America once and for all. Dictatorships full of subjugated people need secret courts. Democratic Republics of free people do not.

The Left’s desire to “spy” on average Americans because some of them “might” eventually commit a crime (and the evidence would be recorded somewhere) is going to come back to bite these Trump haters. It’s a sort of “Live by the sword, die by the sword” moment. Beyond the Constitutional ban on governmental power to force us to testify against ourselves, bad actors who can hack these data can use what they discover for financial or political gain. Just as the attempt was made to destroy a judge’s reputation by bringing up accusations of youthful indiscretions, actual conversations of someone’s… Read more »

I still will be surprised if this ever gets prosecuted. But it would be one small step in turning this country around. Unfortunately media and academia still have a stranglehold on the info everyone gets.

This is all so tiring. Look, In the Whitey Bolger case, “Bull” Durham discovered Mueller keeping four innocent men that Mueller KNEW were innocent in prison. That’s a felony; multiple felonies times four. Regardless of whether Durham had the authority to indict Mueller for his crimes, the consequences Mueller faced was promotion, raises, and eventually another extremely high paid illegal gig to remove a duly elected president and destroy more innocent lives in the process. Robert Mueller is in the cat bird seat and most think he is in trouble. He is not. All this “discovering” what we’ve known since… Read more »

I’m VERY cautiously optimistic that the Truth will be told in it’s entirety. I’m a bit less optimistic that any of the insurrectionists at all will ever face Justice. But…we’ll see…I’ll be happy if they uncover and correct the FBI/Democrat Party Hillary email cover-up.

What is funny is about half of the country, libs, still think this was a legitimate investigation and that President Trump is going to go to prison for obstructing it. It will be great entertainment when Barr and prosecuters start arresting the lib’s heros like Page, Comey and the rest. Their hears will once again explode in glorious fashion. If Barr really wants to get serious, he needs to refer ALL cases to friendly state courts where a future dim president will not be able to pardon them. ALL of the tactics used in the investigation, including perjury traps, intimidation… Read more »
