Trump reminds Dems that deportation ops — not ‘raids’ — are once again set to begin ‘soon’

By Jon Dougherty

(NationalSentinel) Over the weekend, POTUS Donald Trump reminded Democrats that Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations to remove illegal aliens ordered out of the country are set to begin “soon,” while refuting claims the operations are “raids.”

“I don’t call them raids,” the president told reporters Saturday. “I say they came in here illegally, and we’re bringing them out legally.

“These are people where we have the papers, we’ve gone through the court system…[ICE] will be starting fairly soon,” the president noted further.

As reported by Fox News, the initial operations were set to begin last month but someone leaked details to the media, to include which cities were going to be targeted by ICE officers.

The Department of Homeland Security, in conjunction with the White House, decided to postpone the operations out of safety concerns for their officers.

At the time, Trump said he was contacted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who asked him to delay the operations to give Congress time — two weeks — to come up with a legislative solution.

Democrats did manage to join Republicans to pass supplemental emergency funding for the Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection, money that will go towards providing more care and services for migrants in custody awaiting processing.

But as far as long-term fixes to asylum and immigration laws that are currently serving as magnets for tens of thousands of third-world poor, Democrats have expressed little interest in that, however, which likely prompted the president’s comments on Saturday as a warning to the opposition party that time was drawing near.

Meanwhile, former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, now acting director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services — the agency that determines who is permitted to immigrate to the U.S. legally — told Fox News Sunday that there are at least 1 million people in the U.S. illegally who have received removal orders from immigration courts, which he called “an extremely generous due process.”

As for the “raid” terminology, Cuccinelli noted that removal operations — internal enforcement — are part of what “ICE is supposed to do.”

“We’ve fallen to the point where we’re talking about it like it’s news…[that] tells you how far we have fallen in the enforcement side,” he added.

Orders of removal, he noted further, “are the most violated federal orders in the country.”

Thank you Pres. Trump for enforcing our laws & deporting All of these illegals that have invaded OUR country. They are coming in daily to push us out, with the help of the fascists’ democrats. It is time for ‘brown flight’ for these illegals, back to Mexico & south America – no more white flight to anywhere – this is OUR country & will remain so!
