Where is the media in praising the generosity of Rush Limbaugh’s $3 million-plus fundraising donation to charity?

(NationalSentinel) Conservative talk radio giant Rush Limbaugh and his staff were so miffed by Nike’s decision to pull a sneaker ahead of July 4 that was adorned with a “Betsy Ross” 13-star flag because it offended America hater and company spokes personality Colin Kaepernick they decided to do something about it.

Almost overnight, the Limbaugh EIB organization created a “Stand Up for Betsy Ross” flag t-shirt — both as a counter to Kaepernick’s infamous ‘taking a knee during the National Anthem’ garbage when he was still an NFL quarterback, and as pushback against Nike’s cowardly decision.

From the outset, Limbaugh said any proceeds from shirt sales would go to the the nonprofit Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which helps families of fallen military vets and 911 survivors pay off their home mortgages.

By any measure, the campaign has been a smashing success.

During an appearance Monday on “Fox & Friends,” the network’s morning show, Limbaugh announced that so far, his organization has managed to donate more than $3 million to Tunnel to Towers, an astronomical amount and testimony not only to his generosity but also to the charitable nature of his vast conservative audience.

“Three million dollars to a charity on a 27-dollar item,” the radio talk show host said on “Fox & Friends.”

“I really have to thank all of you at Fox for helping us with this,” Limbaugh added. “This has been overwhelming. If this money were going to some left-wing charity, the drive-by media would be all over this.”

And Fox News is the only major cable news outlet that deserves any credit because the rest of the garbage media has ignored the effort. As in, totally.

Not that Limbaugh was looking for the mainstream media’s help nor was he expecting it. He’s well-schooled in the ways of the pathetic Democrat-aligned establishment media.

But imagine how much more money he might have raised for this worthy cause had he gotten even a smidgen of attention from CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, The New York Times, and The Washington Post.

It’s hard telling how much better the shirt sales would have been, though they have been massive already.

Obviously, the Marxists who run these ‘news’ organizations must not be very charitable-minded. Or maybe their conservative hate is such that they refuse to highlight anything positive about them.

What’s more disturbing, however, is that these same people denied their audiences the opportunity to help fund a charity focused on 911 survivors and their families at about the same time someone they do like, Jon Stewart, former host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” was pleading with Congress (and bitching about Republicans) to revitalize and permanently monetize a 911 fund set up after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

Which Republicans helped pass. And POTUS Trump signed (this week).

While mainstream media newsrooms are filled with editors and reporters stricken by Trump Derangement Syndrome, assuming that every single person who watches or reads them is stricken by the same affliction is a huge stretch — and a massive insult.

I’m guessing that even some Democrat voters who don’t care for Trump and don’t much like Limbaugh have nothing against Betsy Ross, nothing against our flag, and nothing against an organization seeking to help 911 survivors and their families.

The establishment press in America has failed America for decades — by choosing to align itself with one political party. That has destroyed media credibility for most Americans, as poll after poll indicates trust in the media continues to sink.

It’s incidents like this one — refusing to inform people of Limbaugh’s incredible act of generosity and charity, thanks to the assist of his large audience because they don’t like him or his politics — that is driving such media distrust.

In any event, we congratulate Mr. Limbaugh, the American people who have bought, and continue to buy, the Betsy Ross shirt, for their act of faith and love and patriotism and generosity.

We thought it worth a mention.

We sell t-shirts by Survival Legion, but we are more than happy to provide readers a link to Rush’s Betsy Ross shirt because it’s for a fantastic cause. If you want to buy one, click here.
