(NationalSentinel) Conservative talker and constitutional expert Mark Levin slammed Jewish Democrats in Congress and allied groups for coming to the defense of a “stunt” by anti-Semitic Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) in attempting to visit Israel last week.
The two lawmakers were denied entry to the Jewish state ahead of a planned visit because they support the BDS movement, which is in violation of Israeli law. The decision to deny entry was issued by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after he determined that the visit’s “sole purpose is to strengthen the boycott and delegitimize Israel.”
Afterward, Israel reversed its decision to deny entry to Tlaib, who is of Palestinian descent, so she could visit her grandmother — whom she hasn’t seen since 2006 — but she declined, claiming the Israeli government was attempting to “silence” her.
On his Monday radio show, Levin blasted Democrats in Congress and Democrat-aligned groups for coming to Omar’s and Tlaib’s defense following the stunt and especially after several anti-Semitic statements and actions.
“I am disgusted with the excuses for these two reprobates,” Levin said. “I am disgusted with the Democrat Party, which is increasingly accepting of neo-Nazi comments and anti-Semitism and bigotry.”
He also singled out the ‘mainstream’ media. “I am disgusted by the same media that accuses the president of being Hitler but allows these two to act as if they’re civil rights activists for the Arabs.”
The host noted that the trip Omar and Tlaib were going to take was set up by Miftah, a virulently anti-Semitic organization with a history of trying to gin up sympathy for terror groups, rather than going with a large congressional delegation trip earlier this month.
He then singled out Sen. Chuck Schumer, Rep. Jerry Nadler, and Rep. Eliot Engel for defending the freshman duo: “Is there a Democrat in Congress who’s criticizing them? Not one.”
“This poison is spreading; this cancer is spreading; it’s getting worse,” Levin, who is Jewish, said regarding Omar and Tlaib’s anti-Israel rhetoric and beliefs.
Pointing out how many Leftist groups have rallied around them, including some Jewish groups., he added: “All the weak, soft underbelly of the Jewish establishment has rallied around two anti-Semites who would love nothing more than to see the complete extermination of the state of Israel. It’s a sickening spectacle.”
