(TNS) As Democrats’ hand-picked witnesses testified on Tuesday in the ongoing clown show know as the “impeachment inquiry,” Vice President Mike Pence’s national security adviser had something to say about the allegations that President Donald Trump did something wrong during the ‘controversial’ July phone call with the Ukrainian president.

Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who advises the Vice President and who was chief of the National Security Council before moving to Pence’s office, said, “I was on the much-reported July 25 call between President Donald Trump and President Zelensky.
“I heard nothing wrong or improper on the call. I had and have no concerns.”

Kellogg notes that Jennifer Williams, who also testified Tuesday and who reported to him, was also on the call, “and as she testified, she never reported any personal or professional concerns to me, her direct supervisor, regarding the call.”

So, how come NSC member and “Ukraine expert” Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman says he heard something improper and concerning?
Obviously, we have a difference of opinion here and that needs to be taken into consideration, for sure.
But as we pointed out yesterday, Vindman — and congressional Democrats — didn’t have a problem when then-Vice President Joe Biden was actually threatening to cut off aid to Ukraine, in exchange for a quid pro quo (Ukraine had to fire a prosecutor investigating a corrupt company that was currently employing the VP’s son, Hunter Biden).
Vindman and congressional Democrats didn’t have a problem when Obama refused to provide lethal military aid to Ukraine while Russia was invading the Crimea and arming separatists who launched a war against the Ukrainian government.
Rush Limbaugh noted on his Tuesday program:
…[T]he striking thing is that none of these people that have testified cared a whit that Obama didn’t come through with assistance for Ukraine, and all of them, every single one of them claims to have no knowledge at all about what Biden was doing meddling around in internal Ukraine domestic affairs.
I mean, when you’re the vice president of the United States and you demand that Ukraine, a foreign country, fire a prosecutor ’cause he’s getting too close to your kid and then you brag about it to the Council on Foreign Relations and it’s on videotape, and these people claim they didn’t know anything about that? And yet we’re supposed to respect them as far more knowledgeable than any of us on Ukraine.
