AG Barr disagrees with a reported ‘key finding’ by the DoJ IG that FBI had ‘sufficient cause’ to spy on Trump campaign

(TNS) Late last month The New York Times and Washington Post both reported leaked information claiming that the Justice Department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, would say in his upcoming report that the FBI had justification to spy on the 2016 Trump campaign.

The Times noted:

The finding is one of several by Mr. Horowitz that undercuts conservatives’ claims that the F.B.I. acted improperly in investigating several Trump associates starting in 2016. He also found that F.B.I. leaders did not take politically motivated actions in pursuing a secret wiretap on a former Trump campaign adviser, Carter Page — eavesdropping that Mr. Trump’s allies have long decried as politically motivated.

F.B.I. officials started the investigation, code-named Crossfire Hurricane, in July 2016 after learning that a Russian intermediary had offered information that could damage Hillary Clinton to a Trump campaign aide, George Papadopoulos. The F.B.I. eventually began looking at four Trump campaign advisers who had ties to Russia, including Mr. Papadopoulos, and as law enforcement and intelligence officials were realizing the extent of the Kremlin’s ongoing campaign to sabotage the election.

Mind you, Papadopoulos was set up to begin with so James Comey’s FBI could use that scenario as justification for Spygate, among other nefarious behavior.

Attorney General William Barr isn’t buying the narrative — or IG Horowitz’s determination that there was justification to spy on the Trump campaign, according to a new story in the Washington Post.

Horowitz’s report is supposed to be published next week. In it, he reported criticizes some FBI employees and their spying tactics but does not, reportedly, come out and say, as President Trump has done, that the ‘Russia probe’ was a “witch hunt.”

That said, Barr is reportedly not convinced by the determination from Horowitz that any probe into the Trump campaign was warranted.

Barr thinks other agencies, such as the CIA, could have vital information that would change Horowitz’s findings, according to the Post.

“A draft version of the report is floating through the law enforcement agency and is being sent to witnesses and offices Horowitz investigated,” Townhall reports.

“If Barr or a senior DOJ official decides to submit a formal letter as part of the process, their letter will be included with the report once it’s released. Barr could decide to go a completely different route and instead of writing a formal letter, he could make his objections known publicly,” the news site added.

Let’s also recall that the Justice Department is conducting its own criminal probe into the origins of Spygate. That investigation is being led by U.S. Attorney John Durham and is expected to result in charges against…someone.

The back-and-forth ahead of Horowitz’s report sounds an awful lot like the deep state is posturing to get its own narratives out ahead of time.

We’ll just have to wait and see what the report actually says, whether Barr augments it with his own statement, and what Durham ultimately finds.

The above quote is about as likely as trying to get a peanut out of an Elephant’s nose!!!

The HISTORY of the C.I.A. proves it to be UTTERLY untrustworthy, (simply by the nature of their ORG.)!

SOOOooooo!! For A.G. Barr to get a squeek out of that ORG. he’s going to need 20 years, just to get a phone conversation…!!! FARCE!!!

When will you people ever learn? Horowitz was appointed by 0bama. 0bama didn’t appoint anyone who would not support changing America to a Marxist nation, and who would support all efforts do do so. Horowitz, in that sense, is still working for 0bama.

Horror-witz is a fake. He is deep-state and his lengthy probe was mostly taken up in trying figure out how file the report without harming any democrats or the FBI.

Horror-witz is an traitor to America. He is an ass. His report will be unacceptable.

Let’s hope that the Barr/Durham report is more honest.
