(TNS) During the Garbage Party’s sham impeachment hearings on Wednesday, in which four liberal law professors testified that President Donald Trump is the worst president in the history of presidents because of all the stuff he’s done wrong — whatever it is — Rep. Matt Gaetz destroyed all of them with a single question.

Earlier, House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Doug Collins (R-Ga.) noted that of the four, not a single one of them was a “fact witness” to anything President Trump had done.
They hadn’t seen anything, hadn’t been around him when he allegedly committed high crimes and misdemeanors, and had no personal knowledge of same.
Gaetz, Florida Republican, effectively used a bit of ‘courtroom theatrics’ to illustrate that point.
During his Q&A period he asked all four witnesses point-blank to ‘raise their hands’ if they had any personal, fact-based knowledge of high crimes on the part of the president, as laid out in House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff’s report.

Collins made the same point during his time in the limelight.
“America will see why most people don’t go to law school. No offense to our professors. But please, really?” the Georgia Republican said during his opening statement.
“We’re bringing you in here today to testify on stuff most of you’ve written about, all four. With the opinions we already know out of the classrooms that maybe you are getting ready for finals in, to discuss things that you probably haven’t had a chance — unless you are good on TV or watching the hearings the last couple of weeks you couldn’t possibly have digested the [House Intelligence Committee Chairman) Adam Schiff report from yesterday or the Republican response in any real way,” Collins added.
“The American people is really going to look at this and say huh? What are we doing? There is no fact witnesses planned for this committee. That’s an interesting thing,” he continued.
“Frankly, no plan at all except next week a hearing on the presentation from the other committee that sent us the report and Judiciary Committee, which I’m not sure what they want us to present on. And nothing else. No plan,” Collins continued.
Because as a number of people pointed out ahead of Wednesday’s impeachment show, if Judiciary Committee chair Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) has to bring in law professors to ‘explain’ what Trump has allegedly done wrong, then Democrats have already lost their argument.
As for Gaetz, he also took Prof. Pamela Kaplan, Hillary and Obama donor, to task for attacking the president’s son, 13-year-old Barron.
.@RepMattGaetz to Prof. Karlan:
"You don't get to interrupt me on this time! … When you invoke the president son's name here, when you try to make a little joke out of referencing Barron Trump, that does not lend credibility to your argument. It makes you look mean." pic.twitter.com/DIgpG5rgSh
