Trey Gowdy nails it: ‘Would’ve been nice if John Brennan would have spoken up’ about Carter Page being a CIA asset (Video)

The facts just keep proving there's a coup attempt afoot

By Jon Dougherty

(TNS) The more the report on FISA Court abuses by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz ages, the more information we glean from it proving that the Obama regime’s “Spygate” operation was a political hit job against Donald Trump from the outset.

During a discussion of various aspects of Horowitz’s report on Thursday, Fox News host Martha McCallum and former U.S. Rep. and U.S. district attorney Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) happened upon a detail that should have been much more obvious than it is, given what we’ve known all along about who in the 2016 Trump campaign was spied upon: Carter Page.

The Horowitz report noted that Page was a former asset for the CIA, between at least 2008 and 2013.

Horowitz, in his report, noted that his investigators found evidence that the FBI asked the CIA if Page, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, had ever been an asset of the theirs, and the CIA responded that he had.

The report also acknowledged that an FBI lawyer hid that detail in applications filed with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Court in order to obtain four surveillance warrants against Page, before and after Trump won the presidency.

So the question became: Why didn’t CIA Director John Brennan ever speak up about that?

Why would he allow the FBI to put one of his assets under surveillance knowing that he’s not a double agent?

And furthermore, why wouldn’t Brennan — who has been extremely vociferous and public in his criticism of Trump — have ever mentioned that the numerous times he’s been on TV?

Watch:

Obviously, nobody in the Left-wing national media has bothered to ask Brennan that question. And he’s never volunteered what he knew to be true about Page regarding his relationship as a cleared informant for the CIA.

Do you think that may be due to the fact that the deep state set up the Trump campaign and Page to begin with?

If Muslim Dhimmi Brennan knew, then Comey knew, Biden Knew, and most certiainly Obama knew and we know that hundreds of others knew, the liberal media knew, many Dems knew that this was all predicated on an illegal scam, regardless of what Democratic Traitor and Obama appointee and Trump Hater Horowitz says. Trey Gowdy nailed nothing. He has been an obstacle to the investigations of the real crimes for 3 years. He provided nothing new here. Know your enemies.
